The second (and last) DS3 DLC will be released in a few days. This is going to be the final piece of Dark Souls content we'll ever get. Probably.

The new Kingdom Hearts collection will be out in a few hours! I already downloaded it, now I'll just have to wait until midnight to play it! <3 Haven't had time to play the new DS3 DLC yet.

Gonna play Dark Souls. Should I go for invasions on my Cleric or help people kill Quelaag on my Pyromancer?

Never realized that Sora is totally sitting on the Iron Throne made out of Keyblades.

Right now trying to defeat the Lingering Will in Kingdom Hearts 2 on critical mode. I've beat him before on normal, but he's fucking insane on critical. His attack patterns are so random, sometimes he will begin the fight with his worst by far spell that seals half of my commands, which is a guaranteed Game Over within a few seconds, pretty much. Sometimes he doesn't use that spell at all but will instead spam his normal attack and won't give me any room to breathe. Also he's got an insane amount of health and defense. Donald and Goofy are so fucking useless in this battle, too. They die within a second and will waste all of their potions on each other, instead on saving them for me. Every now and then Donald will maybe get in a Curaga, but most of the time, he just goes down again immediately. And I thought Dark Souls was a hard game ... Sephiroth was a walk in the park compared to the Lingering Will, Jesus Christ. I know there are ways to cheese the entire battle, but I want to beat him legit, I know my gaming dick is gonna be so huge afterwards.

I spent several hours farming Power Ups and Defense Ups and I still can't beat the Lingering Will. Fucker.

Speaking of Square games, I have been replaying FF7. I know it's a cliche for American dudes to love this game, but it holds up, the soundtrack is a huge part of it. I still get lost a lot, but tonight I was playing and just saved Midgar from Diamond Weapon and it was awesome!

I've been fumbling for weeks to get this damn miracle in Dark Souls. Tonight I invaded somebody and they waved at me and I destroyed them, and I felt so fucking guilty.

It's the circle of life in Dark Souls. I've gotten my ass kicked so many times. Tonight I became the monster I always feared, and it gave me no pleasure to kill somebody so easily. I back stabbed him every time he whiffed. He ran for the boss fog to escape death but I caught up with him and back stabbed him one last time. It would have been impressive if I didn't feel so bad for him.

"I just want to live!" the guy you killed, probably.
In other news, I'm convinced that the Lingering Will is impossible on critical. Even though there are dozens of videos on YouTube of people defeating him on Level 1, I refuse to believe that it's possible.

What's funny is I followed up the Dark Souls victory with FF7 and I got my ass kicked numerous times on the boss fight with the Turks. I had a great PVP night on one of the hardest contemporary video games and then rage quit on a game I beat back when I was 12.

FF7 is not an easy game though, unless you invest a lot of extra time into leveling up your characters and materia. The last optional fight against the Turks can be pretty tough, but the hardest story battle imo is the Carry Armor. I remember the first time I played FF7 as an eight year old, I just barely got to that point in the game, and then the Carry Armor killed my playthrough. I didn't pick up the game again until years later. Same happened with FF8 and Sorceress Adel. Nowadays I can beat her without even looking at the screen, but she wiped the floor with me when I was ten.

The FF games are all pretty difficult for how mainstream they are. I remember you asking my to tell you my thoughts on the ending of FF13 but that shit is collecting dust on my shelf. for some rage quit or another.
