Beat Mad Queen to it.  Last night was brilliant, it was wonderful seeing Wiig back, she is probably my favourite SNL cast member in recent years (obviously I've not watched way back). Her and Kate McKinnon were hilarious in the cast lady skit, and "Guess the Word" was always a favourite of mine. Glad they brought that in. Baldwin deserves awards for his Donald Trump portrayal. Good in a way becaus eif I couldn't laugh at it I would cry. Here is Donald dancing to Hotline Bling On a more general note, I don't think the current SNL cast is very strong. McKinnon is great but the rest are pretty mediocre and forgettable. I think Emma's Stone is hosting again next week (third time?) Oh, and here's is the Cut for Time this week: "These aren't peas, they're just birth control pills painted green. Donald Trump can't take what he can't find."  "oh a wishbone, let's see if it works...nope, still alive."  this is pretty much me on a daily basis "I'm so freakin' excited!" |

This is one of my all time favourites, especially when watched just after the actual interview. Poehler's Couric is fantastic too
Any of the Palin clips is guaranteed to make me laugh

Enjoyed it tonight. Still think it's nowhere near as good as it was in the past but this was a good episode. Good thing Stewart was just a host, or they'd be dropping her to the cutting room floor like they did with Jenny Slate Totinos was hilarious And my god I love Melissa  What does Stewart do these days? I know she said she worked on 5 movies last year - as an actress or producer or what? Just curious |

Not sure if they have anyone who they could make up sufficiently to look like her. Maybe Vanessa? And I'm so glad they got "potential grizzlies" in there. Sometime truth is funnier than sattire. Looking forward to tonight's, hopefully they keep the momentum from last week. A special guest would be nice again, since Baldwin isn't hosting and he has more or less been permanent cast this season.
This skit make me laugh so much
And I realise now it's related to Stewart's art film stuff too, which makes it s of much funnier
