We don't have pics of the actors in the Riverlands, but we know enough about Snowbowl to know Bri wasn't there.

PART ONE This one looks like Team Stark is not doing too badly in Snowbowl.

Yeah I agree with a majority of his predictions, the only thing he was really wrong about was Brienne getting caught in Snowbowl, which we know she goes south into the Riverlands and comes across Meribald, The Outlaws, and Sandor. That's also something they are keeping heavily under wraps not showing any footage of in these trailers. Yeah, the whole Riverlands arc is surrounded by a veil of mystery. Not even The Siege of Riverrun (a fairly large, in terms of scope, event) has been showed in the trailers/teasers/pictures. No Freys, no Outlaws, nothing. Thank the Gods Ian McShane gave us some nice semi spoilers at least! Didn't Javi erroneously say on his podcast that the Bolton archers in the trailer were Lannister archers at Riverrun?

I always thought the notion of having Bran staying in that cave forever was depressingly boring. Dramatically, visually boring, visions or not. But I didn't think he'd leave this early. Well, I guess technically he spent 2 seasons there, but one is offscreen.... Completely agree and now that I've had so many years to really think about it, that's probably one of the main reasons I (and others) chose to 'dislike' Bran's story... it seemingly ends at such a depressingly final point ... "You will never leave here but you will see everything" sort of prophecy from a man who's permanently jacked into the weirnet. Depressing! Bran deserves better then that no matter how powerful his inner sight becomes. Of all the Stark children who could have ruled Winterfell and been the "There must always be a Stark in Winterfell" I felt he was most suited to it. And Jojen was kinda rude imo if he was bragging about the wolves coming again and didn't mean Bran would be one of them.

Yep, and the idea of being elevated to godhood is very unsatisfying if he doesn't even get to have a real life first. I also wondered what the caveforever crowd thought would happen to Meera and Hodor. Would Hodor just be trapped there being possessed by Bran with no one to stop it? It's just depressing from every angle.
And now I am no longer in the fringe minority on this.

And I doubt Max would have agreed to do 3 seasons of a tv show at his age. That was just our assumption that the cave would be Bran's final destination, but clearly it is not. Wasn't everyone's assumption, I didn't think it made much sense to settle Bran's fate in Act II, and there are way too many parallels between his chapters and Arya's and she's definitely leaving her creepy mentor.

1.08 and 1.09 are two of my favorites. Just re-watched Blackwater, it never gets old. One thing I always wonder about is who the Hound was drinking with in that scene with Bronn. It's nice that Sandor had a friend, though. Or at least a casual drinking acquaintance.

They also like to mislead the audience in these things sometimes.

Did the High Sparrow say, "For our sinful creatures, we/they deserve death. We all do." I think it was supposed to be "We are sinful creatures" and "we deserve death" but the audio editing was so jarring who knows what he actually says. Probably a similar fatalistic sentiment anyways. I think you've got it. Hopefully a better quality video will answer these questions.

Rollo is apparently defending Paris with Tyrion's chain from the books. I think GRRM stole that from real history though Yeh i agree, Ragnar having that vision of Lagertha on the farm hit me right in the feels. I'm not sure what it was trying to say.. ragnar regrets becoming king? Is he just thinking about what he lost? I think he regrets fucking up his family life. Last week he admitted he'd failed as a husband, now Lagertha reminded him he broke her heart, and he thinks Lagertha is pregnant now (though I'm still doubtful, she didn't confirm or deny anything). If Lagertha can still have kids, that's gotta make it sting even worse that he looked elsewhere for a new sonmaker and that he and wife #2 can't stand each other now. Speaking of, his reasoning for taking Ubbe and Hvitserk along was pretty faulty. They got into trouble when they were little so now that they're old enough to take care of themselves, he takes them raiding and leaves Aslaug with 3 more small children. And he has no reaction to his youngest son's first kill, even though it happened in front of witnesses so I can't believe it's a secret.

First, surprise incest, now the reveal that Ivar's on the Sweetrobin diet. What's next? Is Rollo gonna defend Paris with Greek fire? I liked this ep, though. Despite how annoying I find Ragnar now, it really hit me in my Ragnar/Lagertha feels. Rollo is apparently defending Paris with Tyrion's chain from the books. Yes, but he'll need a wildfire equivalent to really complete the parallel.
