I suspect that if we see immediate follow up to Jon's death, it might be his murderers going back to get his body only to see the pool of blood and no body. That sounds like a Halloween sequel when they think they've finally killed Michael Myers.

Am I the only one who thinks we'll get Mel Jon sex scene?

She wakes him up with sex instead of a kiss... Jon 2.0 knows everything.

Y'all crazay! As hot as Melisandre is (har har) she needs to keep her Red witch paws off Jon Snow ... he might just freeze her solid in places she doesn't want to be frozen! Instead of a shadowbaby she pops out an ice dragon.

Seems to me Jon's not quite as enamored of the Red Rahloo the way Beric was with Thoros. Jon holds to the Old Gods and he blatantly defied Stannis (and thus Melisandre) by shooting Show!Mance - remember that? I think those were clues that he isn't going to 'beholden' to her even if she resurrects him.

Let's talk about ToJ now.
Do you think we'll have a Lyanna?

Let's talk about ToJ now. Do you think we'll have a Lyanna? It would sure be weird NOT to have Lyanna, wouldn't it? This is a niggling worry in the back of my mind because other than the speculated Arthur Dayne character, we've had zero info on anyone else cast for that scene. I do believe they are trying to keep this one under wraps - though it's been leaked pretty quickly about the tower's set location by the Spanish so it's easy for us to put two and two together. But would the 'average' show watcher be looking for this info? They might watch the entertainment news for casting info - hence HBO buttoning that up more carefully this year - maybe.

As I've said before, you can very easily have the scene without Lyanna actually appearing. It's not like Ned's flashback in the books actually featured her either. She's spoken of, we understand that she's inside the Tower and eventually, why she's there. So, if you wanted to, you could certainly have the scene come off without showing Ned reaching her. The point of the whole flashback is to have the audience understand that she's in there dying with a baby that is hers and Rhaegar's and Ned will end up taking it as his own. You don't have to see her in order to convey this.

Let's be honest, we want the childbirth and promise, but we need the fight scene.

I'm not all that concerned about whether I see her lying dying in a bed and handing Ned a baby. That is the sum total of her part in the sequence, not sure why people are so keen on it.

Lyanna spoke directly to Ned ... this is the most remembered / repeated line he says throughout his focus in the book! "Promise me Ned" is an iconic line and key critical because for nearly 2 decades we've wondered wtf that means... what exactly did he promise and has carried like a heavy burden all this time? Sorry but your argument just really isn't valid in convincing anyone they could just leave Lyanna entirely out of the scene. What a flat dick that would be.
