I hope Blackfish is not in. There are enough geriatrics on the show, we don't need more This is madness! He's one of the best minor characters in the books. Who else would take down the Freys on the show? (LSH is not the answer)

(LSH is not the answer) The Blackfish is awesome, one of my favourite characters, and I'd love to have him back for next season, but not so that he can replace LSH as the leader of the Brotherhood without Banners. It would be rather frustrating actually, to have Stoneheart's arc, but without Stoneheart.

I hope Blackfish is not in. There are enough geriatrics on the show, we don't need more Uh, geriatrics? That was out of the blue and uncalled for don't you think? As Jorah said: "Careful Now..." There are quite a few of us mature folks here. Doesn't seem you are in that category perhaps. I do hope the Blackfish returns. Count me as another one who wants the Blackfish to return. Not only was Clive Russell very good in the role, I think he is quite handsome for his age.

This thread could use a bump after the big news about Jaime/Bronn and Arya's return. Still waiting to hear something about the Blackfish.

This thread could use a bump after the big news about Jaime/Bronn and Arya's return. Still waiting to hear something about the Blackfish. This is officially my most anticipated storyline at the moment. So much drama and pent up tension from past seasons about to be released.... Walder Frey and his venomous rule (turning into a Rat Cook?), creepy Frey brethren, corrupt outlaws, a reformed knight, a true knight on the verge of losing her ideals, a savage-turned-monk, a wandering septon, an angry wolf pack, a girl of many faces, and, if we're lucky, a demonic mother roaming the lands. It's like something out of a grotesque fairy tale. I hope they pull it off, because there's so much richness here, visually, dramatically and every other way.

I'm most excited for Nymeria and her wolf pack finally making an appearance.

I'm really worried about the Blackfish atm.
It's really confusing when you think about the Riverlands story line this season. We will get some bandits and Freys. Jaime and/or Brienne and stuff like that. Jaime is sent to help the Freys in returning peace to the Riverlands?

I'm pretty sure Blackfish will return at some point. I mean, the last time we saw him was at the Red Wedding, and we still need a resolution on whether he survived or not. As much as it pains me to admit it, if they're not doing Stoneheart, Blackfish replacing her as the leader of the BwB would kinda make sense.

Roose/Walder's scene confirmed he escaped, which should mean he's going to pop up again. I don't really see why they return to the riverlands and not pick up that plotpoint, but some confirmation would be nice since we have news of so many other returns.

Blackfish escaping the Red Wedding to me confirms he'll be back eventually. I'd like Edmure to be back too, but the actor would have to work around Outlander, wouldn't he?
