I hope they don't recast him. I wonder how they'll reintroduce him? This is his current twitter profile pic, he looks so old. We've seen more of Rickon than of Tommen and Myrcella, so I think the viewers would recognise him and a recast is less likely. As for introduction, I have no idea right now, it all depends on how the next two episodes work out for Stannis and at Castle Black. Too old for Rickon now, maybe Septon Meribald?

I hope they don't recast Rickon. If Tommen can grow up 4/5 years between seasons, so can Rickon.

Thing is, it's impossible to know how much the infant should have aged when we have basically no idea how long it's been since mid Season 3 when he was born. The book timeline is useless for the show. I mean, Season 4 could have been a month for all I know

Peniscola (yes PENIS, not Pensi) also confirmed. Looks like the Rock to me: Just needs a little CGI. This is beautiful, but I hope it isn't the Rock. It looks far too Mediterranean

That is a gorgeous place but I don't see that being Casterly Rock unless they change the atmosphere to less med feeling, I agree. The other place is definitely perfect for Oldtown - getting hyped for that and all the new characters it will bring to the season!

Peniscola sounds refreshing right about now.

I wonder which episodes Margaery and Cersei's trials will be in, I imagine within the first three episodes. Since their arrests were in consecutive episodes, I think it would make sense to have their trials that way.

I'll only be happy if Rickon comes back a total BAMF. He should after being raised for a couple years by Shaggydog, Osha, and the Umbers. I want to see him wearing a bear hat and riding the damn wolf.

In additon to the wolf riding, I admit I don't unterstand it quite well. Surely it can support the weight of a child, but I can't picture a full grown person or even a teenager (which Art Parkinson is now) riding a wolf.

I've been thinking about villains for seasons 6 and 7. On the forums for a very long time hardcore fans have come up with all kinds of theories for which good guys might turn villain (Dany, Bran, Jon, and Sansa especially) or which of the existing villains might have a secret identity as an uber villain (Roose, Ramsay, Qyburn, Littlefinger.) I've been a part of these discussions and while I think most of the theories are silly, I've never questioned the premise that we need another villain. And why is that? Well, because in the books, and before Hardhome, the White Walkers weren't a good enough villain. They were faceless, vague, a force of nature to be sure, but not individuals you could really hate and fear. And while the Boltons and Lannisters are great villains in a political story, they can't stand up to the threat of a dragon invasion in our minds. And if Dany came in and took over easily, that wouldn't satisfy the buildup, and it doesn't explain how the threat north of the wall matters.
After Hardhome and seeing the Night's King, I no longer feel like we need an uber villain to pop up. We HAVE an uber villain now in the Night's King, and his army is going to take everything the heroes of Planetos have to defeat (dragons, dragonglass, Valyrian steel, noble warriors, small folk, Tyrion's brains, and Mel's, Jon's, and Dany's magic.) Edit: And Bran. How could I forget Bran? He'll be involved as well.

Kind of.
