It was mentioned that we don't yet have a Season 6 General Speculation thread yet. So, now we do!
So, generally... speculate about Season 6 !!

Right then:
Dany leaves Meereen in Episode 5, lands in King's Landing episode 7 Arya leaves Braavos at the beginning of the season to start her revenge tour through the Riverlands Lancel is the faiths champion, he is killed immediately by FrankenMountain. Sorry CLEGANEBOWL fans, GET UNHYPE Cersei burns half of King's Landing down Jorah becomes a statue and Dany carries him around with her

Dany using Jorah as a decorative paper weight should be something they seriously consider.

“I think [HBO] has realized that to keep people engaged with this show that the big set pieces each year have to be bigger than the ones before,” Harington said. “[The Battle of Castle Black in] episode 9 last year was the hardest thing I’ve done. This was twice as hard as that (Hardhome). It was exhausting.” - Kit Harrington
So the big set piece for S6 will be Battle of Ice?

If they do, it would have to be early in the season which would be a nice change up to what we're used to. I'm still going to wait out this season to see exactly where everything stands there. It's possible that the whole Battle could be circumvented by other events.

The Wall is going to play a heavier role next season if they show the Night's King more this season as speculated/confirmed? Having a "leader" of the Ice side puts things in more front-and-center territory to me as does a "leader" for the Fire side (Team Targaryen or is it the Red Rahloo?!) Maybe Jon is the real Ice leader and not the Night's King. Maybe Jon defeats him in combat and becomes the Night's King... geez who knows at this point! Craaazy.
I'm not even going to venture to guess what the King's Landing mess becomes either. Until we know what happens to Cersei it's really anybody's guess.

I think S6 is probably the last season that features KL very prominently. I expect the KL-presence in the first half (or so) of S6 will be the last remnants of the Lannister "dynasty" and the remainder of that season being Daenerys settling in after having taken it and maybe killing Myrcella. Although who knows how that's going to go down. And then towards the end of S6 the WW threat will become pretty pressing and Dany will head North and I wouldn't be surprised if KL isn't shown more than once or twice in S7 before the finale unless the WW reach pretty far south. But tbh I doubt they make it further than the Neck.

I really can't imagine they'd leave him out if GRRM has no plans to make him even a semi-player in the game. I always expected there would be some sort of clash (good or bad) between he and whoever makes it to King's Landing (Stannis, Dany, Myrcella who the fack knows) ... I honestly can't think of anything good for King's Landing story and this season's changes have thrown all reasonable speculation right down the toilet. As someone else mentioned, maybe Ollie ends up on the throne. Anything goes at this point!

I hope fAegon does end up having relevance. If he exists solely to die then I seriously have to question WTF George was thinking when he decided to add him into this already fucking massive story.

If by great things you mean Drogon scooby snack, then ok I'll vote for that! If George hyped him up simply to be killed in battle on the way to King's Landing well screw that. Boring.

I don't think he necessarily has to die though. After a suitable period of fighting with Dany, he could just bend the knee and, idk, serve as her master of ship or something?

I could definitely see him bending the knee to Dany and loyally serving as member of her small council before being brutally murdered by a White Walker.

Aegon is incredibly cocky and has a vicious temper in the book. Have you forgotten him flipping the cyvasse board in a temper tantrum at Tyrion? I don't see him bending the knee at all. In fact it was that tantrum that made Tyrion wonder to himself if he wasn't really a Targaryen afterall.

In that case he'll probably find glory before Dany even shows up, maybe even taking the Iron Throne before being brutally murdered by a White Walker.

Well if that were going to be his end fate, then I suppose I could see why they cut him from the show but it still feels like a missed opportunity to show how precarious taking the iron throne is for anyone, pretenders or not. They don't have enough time next season to show Aegon's rise and fall perhaps. I don't know but it will be interesting to find out what happens to him in the books regardless.
