3.5 hours runtime kills all motivation to watch The Irishman Scorsese's output since the mid 2000s all ready did that for me.

Knives Out was fun. I like that genre, and this one's got a great cast (though it could have used a few of them a bit more than it did)

Saw Frozen II over the weekend. It was not bad at all (seriously, Olaf has the best part) and had some humorous bits but the songs are nowhere near as catchy as the first film.

She was really good!

I'm still a bit sad it's not a musical, but it actually looks pretty great. Love the instrumental version of Reflection.

The instrumental/orchestral versions of the songs work really well for me and hit me all up in the feels. I suspect most of the songs from the cartoon would feel out of place here judging from the trailer - tonally all wrong

3.5 hours runtime kills all motivation to watch The Irishman Scorsese's output since the mid 2000s all ready did that for me. Husband and I watched The Irishman over three nights (no way do we have the time to do 3.5 hours of a movie in one sitting). I will say we both enjoyed the movie, but we both enjoy the mafia genre anyway. It is based on the book I Heard You Paint Houses and some of the claims made by the real life Frank Sheeran have been disputed by researchers and law enforcement. I will say whether or not you believe Sheeran's telling of events, it's probably the most logical explanation for what happened to Jimmy Hoffa. The performances are really good, I would be shocked if De Niro is not nominated for best actor and Joe Pesci (who really plays against the usual hothead role he plays in these films) and especially Al Pacino as Jimmy Hoffa are not nominated for supporting actor. Even the de-aging CGI did not make the actors look creepy at all. PS: Husband says Scorcese should have just embraced the wild theories about Hoffa and had him about ready to step into his final destination but he's taken up in a space ship.

Yep, WOnder Woman continues to be the only DC product im even vaguely interested in. That looks awesome and so much fun, exactly what a superhero movie should be.
edit; holy shit that was Pedro Pascal, I completely failed to recognise him...

So happy for the Rocketman love, it was a long shot given its release date Taron deserves it and so does the movie. I don't know that the Oscars will remember it but it deserves to be, if you ask me.

BDH would have been a nice supporting actress nod but her role was admittedly small so i can’t complain about her missing out really.
