Given the Disney-Fox merger, maybe we can expect Frollo the Friendly priest leading the heroic crusade to send them damnable Mexicans Gypsies packing back to where they came from. Quasi will of course be unemployed because of his disability but no social security net for you my friend! Or health insurance, because that hump is a pre-existing condition don’t y’know. Esmerelda will be transformed into pretty generic blonde fox newcaster #3 singing God Help the Outcasts (As Long as they are Christian and White)

Reminds me of a YouTuber who suggest that Ariande Grande should play Esmeralda in the live action remake.
Lol like what???

The Last Black Man in San Francisco was so good and is not getting enough attention.

This doesn't look abysmal, but my only thought watching the trailer is: "why?".
I did laugh at the end clip.

There must be balance in the DCEU, for every "Joker" there must be a "Birds of Prey."

It’s not that this movie looks bad, I’m sure it’ll be a fun popcorn movie.
But it’s just so out of nowhere. HQ has nothing to do with the Birds of Prey, who could easily carry their own movie. Harley Quinn has totally eclipsed the titular characters in their movie, she just doesn’t need to be there. And that’s coming from a massive harley fan lol.
This is just a cash grab smh

Margo Robbie was the one who pitched the idea for the film to WB, and I know lots of female fans are excited about this movie.
Not saying is going to be good or anything, but I like seeing Harley getting her own movie away from the Joker.
Also just by looking at her outfit you can see women were involved in the decision making. It's ridiculous how easy it is to spot.

Between the promotional stuff for this movie and Wonder Woman 2, it's clear that the people making these just recently discovered the visual phenomena known as 'colour'.

I like the idea of a Harley movie too but I feel like Gotham City Sirens would've been a better idea than Birds of Prey. She's going to take over that movie.

I want to see Judy so bad, but unfortunately it doesn't release in Germany until 2020.

Just watched American Psycho on Netflix. I never thought I actually enjoyed it considering so many people likes to make fun of it. The ending is ambigious. But I liked the theory that Patrick actually did killed some of the people like the prostitute, but the people don't care about it and just move on to their life. I feel like that truly serves the theme of the movie about upperclass people being absorbed into their materialistic culture that they care little about other's life.

Safe rewatch of Zodiac (2007), one of my favorite movies ever. Only Fincher movie I really like.

Safe rewatch of Zodiac (2007), one of my favorite movies ever. Only Fincher movie I really like. I watched that for the first time a few months ago, such a great movie!
I really love the scene with the movie poster guy and the 'not many people have basements in california' part - such great tension

I just saw JOKER and I can say I really cared for it. Joaquin Phoenix is very good and elevated the film with his performance but the rest of the movie felt pretty vapid. It doesn’t really set out to accomplish anything for itself, rather It’s content with reminding you of those Scorsese movies that you might have already seen and then smear some clown make-up on top and call it a day.
Very disappointing.
