I'm not sure if this has been discussed but I was looking at the episode again and I notice that the CofF had in fact stabbed the WW and nothing happened but when Meera speared him she was able to kill him.
Why do you think that is? Did the CotF not stab him deep enough, did it not go through it's armor?

I just had notice that it did go through part of the armor but probably not enough, just probably the top layer.

I'm seeing some weird theories floating about now that Meera's "special" because she killed a White Walker in that scene. I think this is misconception on either the part of unsullied who have only seen Jon shatter a white walker that way with Valyrian steel or else tin foil theorists who love the idea that Meera is Jon's twin.

Jon and Meera secret siblings fucking confirmed.

Yeah, I've seen a few unsullied confused at the lack of hooplah around the fact that this episode "confirmed" that Meera is Jon's twin because she was able to kill the Walker. It's pretty amusing.

I still think that scene felt forced. Like "Hey, White Walkers are attacking! We gotta have one of them die, maybe Meera is the one to do it?"

I cannot freaking wait for the final reveal so this crap can finally be dismissed and hopefully die with the rest of the weird crackpot theories about TOJ!

I just assumed her spear had dragonglass. It's really not factor for me since Sam killed one as well.

Do these Unsuilled think Sam is Jon and Meera's long lost triplet too?
Oh wait no, he doesn't have the right hair.

The CotF hit the armor. But spears should be able to penetrate armor like that(if it's not magical). It will be interesting to see if the WW will react to this like they did after Sam stabbed the WW in S3 (?) with the obsidian dagger. After Sam killed the WW, they started to use better and heavier armor. Maybe they'll start using helmets soon as well?

Why do you think that is? Did the CotF not stab him deep enough, did it not go through it's armor? what @fireandblood said sums it up, but I think this raises an interesting point about the armour. Jon killed the Walker at Hardhome with Valyrian steel slashing through the armour, so it seems, so the armour doesn't protect against 'dragon steel', but it does against Obsidian. So if the Walkers are intelligent enough to defend against their weaknesses, this means they are far more intelligent than the weapons the children likely intended them to be. It makes me wonder just what other 'technology' the White Walkers have at their disposal?

3:46 Meera picks up a sword.. could this be the legendary Dark Sister that is in Brynden's possession? We need more Valyrian steel swords on the show, since the war for the Dawn 2.0 is coming soon and introducing Dark Sister would be cool.

I am pretty sure Meera did NOT have a sword before they got there (she uses spears and bows), so it's curious there's one there in the cave, right? Regardless, The Three Eyed Raven never revealed who he himself was before he died, so unless Bran does more time travel into that character's past, we won't ever know (on the show) who he is/was. The theory of him being Bloodraven is so popular most of us just called him that on the show as well. Easy to forget it was just a fan theory.

I saw someone talking about Meera possibly picking up Dark Sister so I just had to post it here. They didn't have a sword before going into the cave. Didn't they have an axe + spears and bows like you said? Wait, isn't it confirmed in TDWD that Bloodraven = Three Eyed crow? "I wore many names when I was quick, but even I had a mother, and the name she gave me at her breast was Brynden" . On the show they haven't really given the Three eyed raven any character at all, but we might (unlikely) see some of his past in some flashbacks.

ASOIAF Wiki (the one ran by Elio & Linda) says they are the same person. "Thousand eyes and one" and all that.

You're right, that was pretty heavy confirmation to back up the theory even if he doesn't say outrightly that's who he is. I suppose it's possible there's more than one Brynden in the story as there are others with the same names. I just always called him Bloodraven because I felt the theory was solid. So IF he truly is, having Darksister with Meera is AWESOME!! *edit: So if Meera keeps that sword and ends up killing another White Walker with it next episode I'm going to pee my pants. Awesome theory you've got there!

I thought it's pretty much confirmed he's not Bloodraven in the show? He had both eyes, no birthmark, wasn't an albino, and most convincingly, he said he'd been in the cave for 1000 years.
