I'm just over here hoping they make the Kingsmoot either 1) more interesting than the book or 2) a very short scene because I'm sorry, but zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I find it a bit more interesting on the show because they've cast some great actors for the roles and the scenery/sets are well done too. I think the Kingsmoot will be a fairly straightforward average length scene that will define a lot of things to come so I'm interested to see it even though I don't care that much about their story.

The Iron Born chapters were easily the worst in AFfC for me. Crazy Cersei and Brienne's later chapters were the high light.

If Brienne kills Littlefinger right in the spot I'll forgive her (But vice versa is the same) I don't really see why Brienne needs forgiveness. Stannis used blood magic to kill her king (and the man she loved). She had every right to kill him. She also gave him a better end than Ramsay would have had the Bolton men found him. I thought the Kingsmoot chapter was fantastic.

So sorry, you're gonna have to endure it. We get that badass whitewalker scene too. So that's a plus regardless of how you feel.

I thought the Kingsmoot chapter was fantastic. Lots of Stannis fans are still salty about how he went out, I think. I'm guessing they would have preferred he died in battle legit to having Brienne enact her revenge upon him. To be fair though, in the end, he went out like the stoic man of principles he was and that fact was not lost on Brienne. I don't think she derived as much satisfaction from that kill as she thought she would.

Eh, it has nothing to do with Brienne having every right to kill Stannis. Joff had every right to behead Ned etc.
If you really start to think like that, why does Jaime need forgiveness for pushing Bran out of the window? He was protecting his loved ones. Had Bran told someone the Lannisters would've been destroyed. Why does Roose need forgiveness? They were losing, even though he was a good commander, Robb was dumb as fuck politically. By killing Robb he earned the North. Why does LF need forgiveness? Why does Theon?
It's because they harmed our favourites in one way or another.

I can't decide if I'm more excited about Bran entering the COTF/WW vision, the Kingsmoot, meeting R'hollor's female pope, Brienne's mission or Arya joining the theatre troupe on a mission . Massive hype for this episode.

Massive hype for this episode. Agreed there's a lot to look forward to in this next one. 6x04 surprised me with all the scenes I didn't know I was going to see and loved like Jon/Sansa reunion, Theon/Yara reunion and the pink letter ... so I expect 6x05 is going to have a couple of surprises too on top of what we already know is coming from the promo. Of what we've seen, I'm probably most excited about the new Red Priestess and Arya.

I don't think we were meant to feel bad for Stannis at that point though. Look at what he had done in the previous episode. He got a much cleaner death than I think a lot of people felt he deserved. Brienne was very dutiful about it too, she saw Stannis wasn't the monster she expected, and she didn't take any joy in killing him. You're right though, it's not my place to tell people how they should feel. But I can state that i don't think Brienne did anything in need of forgiveness.

By the way, now that the Kingsmoot is upon us... What do we think about the Dragonhorn? Is it in the show or not?

I really wonder how much of the supernatural stuff Euron's involved with in the books the show will be willing to include. The dragon horn's one thing but then there's also the whole angle of him having those warlocks in his custody and being into Shade of the Evening and all of that. We don't know either way how far they'll take that but he seemed quite out-there in his introduction (though obviously his appearance has been toned down significantly) and I'd like it if they left him every bit as loopy as he is in the books. He's a good villain to segue the story from featuring political-minded human villains towards featuring supernatural villains. He's just in between.

Considering how much they toned down the 'weirdness' of many other characters (Daario for example) I wouldn't be surprised if show Euron has very little or no supernatural affiliation just as his looks are toned down from the books. He may just be the "badass viking" type who has a reputation far and wide. Then again, they did make a point of having Balon confront Euron's peculiar behavior at sea story which I thought was odd, and they didn't even expand on it so most viewers have no idea what that was all about (and that's not from the books is it?) They likely put that in to foreshadow some big reveal about Euron I guess.
