I can't believe how perfect the Pink Letter was! Nothing has ever given me so much hype for SNOWBOWL as this letter did. Holy shit, it's on!!!  Yeah the fact that fucking SANSA is the one to read the final lines of that asshole's letter was brilliant on D&D's writing part, makes it so much more impacting than just pissed off Jon reading it. In fact, Jon is acting like a little weenie, wtf. Sansa you better get that man on his feet, damn! She said she'd go do it herself. YOU GO GIRL!!!  Sansa has been through too much shit and isn't going to take it anymore. Enough is enough. Jon needs to get over his shit, whine later, fight now. Also, ofr next week apparently Luittlefinger will be using his teleported again. |

But he never said Daenerys was just like all the rest you know. He said her surviving the fire was a special deal but he didn't say it was only a one time thing did he? I really am not interested in hearing the mass book audience yammer on about this because they don't have a book in their hands to cite word for word from so if the show writers decided Daenerys is immune to fire then fuck the book at this point. They are at least finishing something.  |

OK, this was amazing in every way. Loved the political manoeuvrings, the reunions, and of course the last scene.
This is seriously shaping up to be the best season bar none.

Olenna and Cersei teaming up...with Keven. This could be very interesting. I predict that someone betrays someone. Dany looked amazing in the final shot, but that scenario seemed kind of rushed for me. I'll have to watch again to evaluate.I'm really interested in seeing Sansa be the one to push Jon to take back Winterfell. I burst into tears before they even embraced, by the way. Yeah way too rushed. A seam there. The doors were locked from the inside and they can't get out? That takes out all the Khals? I figured some would bend the knee to her. |

The only things I disliked about this episode were:
Mereen and the manner in which Dany just tilted braziers and none of the Khals thought to run and beat her to a fucking pulp as revenge. The 'leak' (which was a load of shit in the end)said Drogon came and burnt everything, and then the Dothraki knelt to her, which I felt would have worked much better.
I feel like Osha could have deserved a better death, especially since GRRM has said something to the effect of how she is one of the his favourite characters from the show, opposedto the character in the book. I would have at least liked to see her wound Ramsay or get a kill on a Bolton soldier or something.

Oh this was such a good episode!! Jon and Sansa made me so happy. That hug. Sansa's clearly not forgotten what happened to her at Winterfell. Snowbowl GET HYPE Royce the Voice killing itMargaery and Loras got me surprisingly in my feelings. Seeing Loras like that was very upsetting to me. Margaery's gonna pull some shit tho that's for sure. For a second I thought Cersei was gonna hit Tommen. Cersei and Olenna are always fun to watch. Tyrion's flaws are becoming more and more apparent to me. He's arrogant, he's rich, he's beyond privileged. All great stuff, but I'm glad to see Tyrion's not perfect. Wtf was Missandei wearing lol. Pink letter worked in the context of the show. I had a feeling that Tormund would fall for Brienne. They are a perfect match.  That was the best Meereen so far this season. Kings Landing was really strong. Pryce was awesome. Littlefinger was predictable. But that was set up in season 5. Theon, bless his cotton socks, he's trying. Dany scene wasn't bad, but I wish I hadn't have known about the temple burning down. It spoiled it. But otherwise not too bad. Overall an emotional and excellent episode. |
