Seems Cersei related. The stranger is the Faith's embodiment of death.

Somehow I have a hunch this'll be a Cogman episode.

Coolest title so far imo. Very Egyptian. The Stranger is death. "Book of the Stranger" suggests resurrection to me - potentially both Jon and Dany's (the fire scene).

Fuck. I was hoping for "The Stallion that Mounts the World".
I guess we'll get some Oldtown action as well.

Maybe the best title in the show ever IMO. Very good.

Love it. Best so far by a mile.
It's one of the books within the Seven Pointed Star so have to wonder if some of the Faith might be in need of another read-through by the end of it.

Yeah, I'm guessing it could also mean another scene for the High Sparrow, which I can't complain about. And The Mountain is a walking "Stranger" (death machine) by now.

The primary focus of the title will be KL-related, since that's the only storyline where the faith is in any way prominent.

Courtesy of Wikipedia: The Book of the Dead is an ancient Egyptian funerary text, used from the beginning of the New Kingdom (around 1550 BCE) to around 50 BCE.[1] The original Egyptian name for the text, transliterated rw nw prt m hrw[2] is translated as Book of Coming Forth by Day.[3] Another translation would be Book of emerging forth into the Light. "Book" is the closest term to describe the loose collection of texts[4] consisting of a number of magic spells intended to assist a dead person's journey through the Duat, or underworld, and into the afterlife and written by many priests over a period of about 1000 years.Betting this is the episode where Mel gets her groove back

I assume this episode has the Wall, KL, Dany, Meereen, and Oldtown.

So this means HS will apear in E1,2,3 and 4? His 5 episodes were great last season but I'm glad he has much more of an active role this year.

Given that Mel's entire existence is driven by a religion which is in direct opposition to the Faith of the Seven.

I think so too since they've been pinging on the 7 pointed star book a lot lately and Septa Unella was even reading from it in the premiere episode. But it also could have to do with two of our Stark kids. The Stranger is the equivalent of the God of Death - so Arya's story here I'll bet. If as archiechvyalthan said, it's a reference to the Book of the Dead, then resurrection and afterlife are strong themes. This could be the aftermath of Jon's resurrection and what that means going forward. Sansa meeting him maybe?

The "Stranger" is just the coolest name for it. The Faith may have a role in this episode, no doubt, but it doesn't necessarily have to be the focus of it.

Yeah, last episode was called "The Red Woman" and Mel got like three minutes of screen time.
