What an awesome title name. I'm loving it. It has an eeriness and it feels a bit spooky.

Like Jaqen said, Death is present in every religion. The "Stranger" is just the coolest name for it. The Faith may have a role in this episode, no doubt, but it doesn't necessarily have to be the focus of it. Yeah, last episode was called "The Red Woman" and Mel got like three minutes of screen time. It's true, we really shouldn't put too much weight on the titles as it doesn't always mean that's the main focus.

And also, if Jon is brought back this episode, I don't think it's too late.
It means more focus on Davos and Mel in the meantime, which is always good news.
It will be kind of creepy though since several days will have passed and we know how that can affect the "returned".

Hoping Jon's resurrected as the final scene in 6x03 which could still make 'death' (and afterlife) still a pretty big theme for 6x04. I imagine pretty much everyone's going to be freaked the fuck out.

I think it'd make more sense for Jon to come back at the end of the second episode, because it'd be fitting if he was alive to break some oaths in an episode called "Oathbreaker"

Stranger is Sandor Clegane's warhorse.

I love the title episode. As others have said before, this is the best one in a while, IMHO. The esoteric vibe is pretty cool.

Best one this season so far imo
I knew they would never pick titles directly relating to prophecies etc that was wishful thinking imo
I think this episode is called book of the stranger, stranger representing death, because it will focus on the aftermath of jon's resurrection, and Dany taking over vaes dothrak, some KL Cersei stuff with the mountain probably and maybe Arya.

First thing I thought was The Hound cause of his horse. Ian Mcshanes ep? Or do y'all already know what ep he will be in.

Yes, right now everything is pointing towards Jon's resurrection being the final scene of Episode 06x03. Besides, 06x04 has a fitting title for exploring the reasons and consequences behind Jon's round travel to death.

I lost count of the amount of times I said that Jon's resurrection would be the last scene in 6x03.

I'd probably say Cripples, Bastards, and Broken Things is still my favorite episode title, but this is a really good one. Best in a while.

But most titles from Season 1 were really awesome: "Winter Is Coming", "Cripples, Bastards and Broken Things", "A Golden Crown", "Baelor", "Fire and Blood"...

I love this title. Sounds like a mix of Jon aftermath, KL, and Oldtown.
