1) Old lady hitting the sack - One of the most "full fantasy" scenes of the story to date, and done right: it brings those good ole Gothic chills. The scene is surprisingly touching in a way. You wonder if Mel even expects to live out the night.
2) Cersei dwelling on purity and putrefaction - both Myrcella's and her own. Beginning with that long close-up. I love how this scene is secretly all about the effects of the Walk of Shame. Cersei's not a religious woman, but the religious battering and humiliation of season 5 was going to have an effect on her. Here she is questioning her own "monstrosity", wondering if she can be saved. It's a great scene. Of course, that self-hatred will turn to all-out hatred very soon
3) Brienne's oath to Sansa - Beaaautiful work by Sophie and especially Gwendoline, who officially moves past her book character in this moment. Her quest finally validated.
4) Opening at Castle Black - Just awesomely shot. The wolf howling, the solitude of the whole scene, and the feeling that something is amiss. Great set-up.
5) Theon and Sansa's snow hug - A small moment, but so great to watch.

In no particular order:
1) Opening shot at CB which tracked over top of the Castle to get into the quiet courtyard with Jon's body alone in the night with Ghost howling softly. That's a very cinematic sequence and one of the reasons this is more than just a TV show.
2) Dany's scene with Khal Moro. It was a little overlong but I liked his presence and the "Queen of nothing..." retort which was done with such contempt, a great line reading. And they managed to wring humour out of a Dothraki interaction (where they start listing all the things better than seeing a naked woman) without making them look like clueless doofuses, which was typically the only way they've know how to make them funny in the past.
3) Cersei on the docks. From her grasping at her shortened hair at the beginning of the scene to the recognition in her eyes as she realized Myrcella was dead, an amazing amount of wordless acting from Lena.
4) Brienne arriving on scene to save Sansa. Just having a scene where multiple characters selflessly try to protect Sansa is awesome and the pledge and acceptance was done perfectly. Pod with the stealth high grade in this sequence as well...
5) I liked Ramsay's memories of Myranda scene where we get a peak into why they were a thing. He has an acceptance issue and she accepted him for what he was which is why they were connected. But at the end of the day, he's still Ramsay so he's not going to really be affected by her death to that great of a degree so the "feed her to the dogs" bit was a great capper.

My Top 5:
1. Exchange of vows between Sansa and Brienne. They both did such an amazing job, it had me in tears. Especially loved Podrick helping Sansa remember the lines and then how much stronger she said the rest after that. A true Lady.
2. The opening sequence with the epic flyover to the courtyard and Ghost's sad sad crying, that was just a gut wrenching way to open the episode. I'm also very happy it was Davos who came out and saw Jon's body first and rushed to his side. That says a lot about how important he's going to be this season! *cheers*
3. Dany and Khal Moro - great pairing and awesome Dothraki from both of them. I enjoyed the wives and their "chop off her head" bit where Khal Moro mocked them as catty women saying this because of a beautiful woman haha. I appreciated they had Dany once again stay quiet and use her command of the language to verbally bitch slap those jerky bloodriders.
4. Cersei's awesome change of faces from rushing to the waterside with a smile and happiness fading to instant sorrow. That was masterfully done - Lena is really good.
5. Melisandre. I was surprised how much she moved me with this scene. Her look of utter defeat, her quiet sadness and 'giving up' was really profound. The nude old lady was only momentarily shocking but her defeated attitude was the clincher. This had to have had the general audience freaking out!

In no particular order
1. The opening shot of the Wall and Castle Black. To me personally, snow is just so fucking beautiful. So seeing this decrepit castle blanketed in snow, panning in with the music and Ghost howling, until focusing in on a corpse in a puddle of blood. Chills.
2. Cersei on the docks- Her straight up like giggling over Myrcella's return, running out their, then realizing what's up. Her smile fades and dread creeps back into her face. Lena played it beautifully. It was restrained without seeming unemotional. Yet again, chills.
3. Brienne swears her life to Sansa- Giving me throwbacks to Catelyn (cries). Sansa forgetting the words was a good touch.
4. Dorne- fight me. I liked Ellaria in this scene. Just because you don't like th story, doesn't mean it's a bad one. Looking back, it's kind of obvious Doran was walking (well, rolling...) into a trap.
5. The Red Woman- This scene was phenomenal. Melisandre sitting in bed, staring into the flames, before standing up and staring in the mirror. She looks so depressed when she disrobes. The music was excellent. Extremely eerie scene. Once again, I got chills.
its safe to say I was very chilly last night.

1) Mel's reveal. Beautifully shot, eerie music, wonderful acting from Carice. All put across just the right atmosphere. 2) Cersei joyfully running to meet Myrcella. Very different to the Cersei we have seen in the past and completely convincing 3) Brienne's oath. *wipes away tear* She's still holding her oath to you Cat, she has your daughter! 4) septa Unella and Margaery 5) Sansa and Theon escaping. Like Alfie's acting, music was wonderful, but wasn't 100% on Sophie in this scene (usually I think she is very good) hence why it's last on the list

1. Sansa and Brienne - really good, atmospheric scene, from its very beginning when we see Theon and Sansa running through the forest. The fight feels brutal, the acting is phenomenal, and I loved how Sansa says the oaths. Amazing all around.
2. The final scene - it had a very melancholy tone to it - it's one of the most interesting and unique show enders they have done, and I liked it a lot.
3. The opening shot leading up to Jon - great shot, love the wolves and the sky and everything about it.
4. Allister Thorne's speech - never liked Thorne, but he is very good at presenting his argument there. You could easily see where he was coming from.
5. Dany and the Khal - I see people on reddit complaining about this being cheesy, but I loved it. Previously, I found Dothraki to be caricatures and the butt of several jokes, where jokes were often made at their expense. I thought this scene dealt with them a lot better though, and I for one found it pretty interesting.

I had to sit there and think about this: 1. The ending 2. Theon and Sansa hugging 3. The oath between Brienne/Sansa with Pod's help 4. Davos and the NW in the room telling Thorne, we will talk about it and let you know. 5. The opening scene

They did it in the 5x10 finale scene with Missandei too. I guess to point out he needs her and Varys like you say.

Or maybe it's to show us that Dany is better at three things than Tyrion: languages, dragons, hotness.

1) Alliser Thorne's speach (I just found this scene kind of cool, sort of puts a perspective on Thorne's actions) 2) Davos pissing off Thorne 3) Brienne, Sansa, Theon, Pod and a handful of the 20 good men. All of it was good 4) Jaime and Cersei 5) Tyrion and Varys, the whole scene. These two have some of the best lines in the episode.
