@rooseisazorhai created the Hype Thread For Snowbowl, but this will be the thread for discussion when it happens on screen in 6x09. Snowbowl will be the massive epic battle outside Winterfell between Jon and Ramsay. Major Characters Involved: Jon Snow, Davos Seaworth, Tormund Giantsbane, Ramsay Bolton, Sansa Stark, and Petyr BaelishOther Participants: Rickon Stark, Wun Wun, Harald Karstark, and Smalljon Umber Featuring: Jon, Davos, Tormund, Sansa, Petyr, 2,000 Wildlings, Knights of the Vale, Northern Lords and Bannerman (62 Mormonts, 200 Hornwoods, 143 Mazins) loyal to House Stark vs. Ramsay, Harald, Smalljon, 5000 Boltons, The Karstarks and The Umbers armies. Details: Jon, Davos, Tormund and the Wildlings, the Mormonts, the Hornwoods, Wun Wun, and the bannerman loyal to House Stark face Ramsay, the Boltons, the Karstarks, and the Umbers in a brutal major winter battle near Winterfell (called by the fans as Snowbowl, called by the crew as The Battle of Six Armies). / Ramsay rides to battle with his men behind him, including Harald Karstark. / Ramsay displays six flayed bodies upside down on Bolton crosses, during the battle. / Davos and the Stark cavalry ride towards Winterfell. / Jon rides into the battle with the wildlings. / The Wildlings charge the men with the Bolton shields. / A wall of daed bodies blocks the Stark loyalists as they are encircled by the Bolton army. / Tormund ends up right against a parade of Bolton shields. / Sansa and Littlefinger ride to the battlefield to help what is remaining of the exhausted Stark force. / Sansa, Jon, Ramsay, and Littlefinger have a heated interaction in the courtyard of Winterfell. Wun Wun breaks through the gates and the people inside fight him off. Wun Wun is then hit with an arrow. Here are some gifs from the trailers and promos showing footage from Snowbowl.

I'm disappointed you left out my drawing. You should probably make a new drawing. Sansa will be there too. Also, where the fuck are the horses and the Bolton shields?

I guess this battle will last the whole episode? I can't wait! If the reddit spoilers are to be believed it'll be forty minutes straight of battle. I'm not certain it'll be a whole-episode affair like Blackater or WOTW myself but still, it'll be the biggest the show's done yet and probably the longest too, in terms of actual sustained action. Me and Al have a theory/hope that we'll get a battle in the Riverlands and Meereen in the same episode and thus get a three-for-one deal going (with most of the emphasis of course being on the SNOWBOWL). There's evidence pointing to us getting action scenes in those other episodes around the end of the season, so if it were to all line up it could really amount to a of an episode. But tbh just getting the SNOWBOWL would plenty too. I'll settle for basically anything with a ton of resolution and catharsis at this point though. And the North's the place that needs all of that the most.

Around 40 minutes devoted to the North and 15 minutes to Meereen.

Thank you Roose for the beautiful art I have displayed on my profile for a short time. I like LF better. That one was too funny though since you spelled it "Littlefigner". I picked Jon because its funny, but not too funny to distract from all of my incredible posts.

Btw, I just realized that the spear at the front seems to have the banner of House Hornwood wrapped around it.

Here's the famous reddit spoiler, if anyone wants to know. I'm not convinced about this though.

Scenes mentioned in there are confirmed by the trailer such as the pile of dead bodies and the Stark force being encircled by the Boltons shields, but yes there are details that are missing and fabricated.

The guy probably was an extra, and saw some stuff (the wall of bodies etc)
The cavalry charge he saw in the trailer. I doubt any of the extras was there for the full shoot.
Half of the post is legit, the other half is not.

Half of the post is legit, the other half is not. I'd say a good deal more than half of it is legitimate. Certain details will have been fudged, misremembered or skewed but generally the beats of this seem dead-on. The cavalry charge in the trailer is that of the Stark forces not LF's, so he certianly didn't base that claim on the trailer. And he was an extra for both Bolton and Stark sides and said in his posts that he shot for a very long time, so yes, he would know a whole lot. I believe the guy almost entirely.

The cavalry charge is Bolton vs. Stark. You can see in this gif that there are two groups of horsemen fighting each other:

I've changed my thoughts since I wrote that. I'm still little baffled about Ramsay's army outnumbering Jon's 6-to-1. If the numbers are clearly on the Boltons' side, why would Jon even attack them? Of course this whole deal can be explained with the Karstarks having fucktons of men (they made almost half of Robb's army, after all), while the Stark loyalists have only few thanks to Robb's wars and the RW.

I don't believe in that part. They might outnumber them 6 to 1 with real people in the set, but not in the final product maybe after the CGI is done.

Yes, that part's definitely bullshit, even Konrad should agree on that.
