Where an actress looks with her eyes in an intimate one on one scene like that would absolutely be the choice of the director I would think. He/she should have final say on something like that. I just watched the scene again and Emilia was perfectly fine when she starts talking to Jorah, it's when her rage takes over she stops looking at him, and even then you can't tell until she walks down the steps due to the way it was shot. Again, that's on the DP/director. Anyway, the scene is fine imo. Certainly not one of the worst scenes the show has done.

I think Emilia's perfectly fine. There's a lot of very deliberate character choices in her performance. A common complaint is that she's too flat and unemotional, but Emilias said since like season 3 that she's done that on purpose, as Dany's trying to come across as regal and composed. When her walls came down and she's having an intimate scene with Daario or Missandei, for example, she's perfectly normal. It's all intentional.
A show like this, they don't just wing it. Every move the actors make is planned and rehearsed.

I've been thinking about that "shocking death" info we got. Well, ruling out characters like Dany, Jon, Sansa or Arya, IMO the only four characters whose death would be really shocking at this point of the story are Littlefinger, Jaime, Rickon and maybe Brienne. Personally, only Jaime fits the bill for me (in the sense that he'd be the most shocking death for me), but I can see how the other three would also be shocking to a lot of people. It's most likely Rickon.

This one shows both Jon and Ramsay killing someone. The faces are also telling - Ramsay's is full of sadistic delight while Jon's is just... well, I don't know what emotions are in his face. |

It's a great kill, but it's a wide shot that wouldn't fit in a 200x180 gif. It's also very dimly lit  |

It's most likely Rickon. I really don't see who else it could be. Littlefinger is slightly more likely than Jaime or Brienne but even then I'm not buying it. He probably lasts till the endgame same as Varys. |
