If it's someone from Snowbowl: Jon and Sansa are ruled out. Tormund and Ramsay I don't think would be really surprising. Davos, Mel, and Littlefinger would kind of be, but I think they have more story left. Osha and Rickon would be shocking. Despite how irrelevant Rickon is. Roose and Walda will very likely be dead by then.

Another interesting comment from the same article:
- But is it confirmed that what happens will be Winds material? - Jesús answer: After seeing season 5, do you think Shireen will be queen of Westeros in the books?
So whatever happens there seems like a huge deal.

honestly though, I could see a Rickon death as a show-only thing.

It would be interesting if that scene with LF from the trailer is right before Sansa stabs him, but I doubt it. Theon and Jaime would be surprising at least for S6. Dany, Tyrion, Jon, Sansa, Bran, and Arya are safe. They want to keep Cersei alive at least until S7 so I dunno then. If I had to choose one, based simply on my gut feeling, I'd say Brienne or Jaime. That's what I was thinking too. Although I think Jaime will kill Cersei so I'm not sure about Jaime if Cersei is still alive. Could he Brienne.

If I had to guess right now, I would guess either Brienne or Margaery. Would anyone even care if it was Margaery?

At least to me Littlefinger dying would be quite shocking ... Rickon, not so much, but I can understand why Javi or Jesús would think so.

It's always funny how much people like Javi give away while attempting to give away as little as possible.

I was thinking now that if they are merging Asha/Yara and Victarion in one character in the show... it is going to be a tough one to swallow for me. Asha is one of my favourite characters while Victarion is one my "most hated" ones. Oh well...

I mean, in terms of plot, yeah, maybe she will fill Victarion's role going to Meereen looking for Dany. But in terms if characters, I doubt it. Victarion is very, very stupid (remember when he said that he will literally sail with his ship across the Dothraki sea?), and Yara has proved far from being stupid in the show.

And Sam said him becoming a maester is the worst thing in his father's eyes. They seem to have cut that angle from the show, though, with Sam volunteering for it. I'm sure there'll be plenty of other ways for Randyll to show he's the only contender for #1 Dad now that Tywin's dead. He'll have to fight Roose for that title.

It is a mystery as what the show does about Victarion's story, since George released those WoW chapters Victarion has the third most Ironborn chapters after Theon and Asha. There seems from what GRRM released a lot of story at Meereen , I mean a Big Battle about the breaking the siege. There is the implication of the merging of Meereen , Dany, Tyrion and Ironborn arcs , they just skip over that? Seems to me a lot of Winds of Winter are not going to be spoiled because the show is not doing it!

I'd assumed previously based on WOTW's info from the summer that the scene of people fleeing for boats meant that Yara and Theon fled the Iron Islands together or something. But looking back at the article all it said was this. So unless @alcasinoroyale and archiechvyalthan can remember some later confirmation that those two flee together, that opens up the possibility that Yara is indeed taking over the going-to-Essos-for-Euron's-sake part of Vic's role and that this chase scene, whether involving Theon or not, could be something later after she's left. If she goes to Essos without Theon, it's as possible that he stays behind and it's Aeron who makes the main effort to crown him in Euron's stead.

Fuck, I think we might have been led to believe Theon was part of the sequence because Alfie was mentioned being there during the same week, but they were filming multiple scenes from different episodes so I'm hoping archiechvyalthan remembers.

According to my own notes Yara was not part of the scene, or at least she was not mentioned:
• "Chase to the water" action scene (caves nearby) shot featuring Theon, Euron, Aeron and other Ironborn.
So she could have already left.

I just remembered I think it was because the reddit spoilers about Yara being in Volantis mentioned him being there. Wasn't it?
