He could certainly die, but I think the flayed bodies burning on the crosses were reported to be known characters. I would say either Stannis, Osha, and Roose are potential candidates. I don't think it's Stannis for two reasons: 1) He was beheaded and I don't think the Boltons would bother to sew his head back to his body; and 2) The corpse looks fresh, too red. Stannis would be long dead by then and his flayed body wouldn't be so red. I think the two corpses are Osha and some new Stark loyalist Northern lord, maybe an Umber who took care of Rickon and that was betrayed by a family member who supports the Boltons (hence the Umber troops fighting alongside the Boltons). And are you convinced that it won't be Roose and Walda? |

I just don't want any more Starks to die ugh, even someone as minor as Rickon My dream ending for the Northern storyline is still Rickon growing up to be a worse psycho than Ramsay, marrying some daughter that Ramsay fathers at some point, and starting a reign of pure terror that makes the Northeners miss the good old days the Boltons ruled the North.
