I'm more and more in love with Carice's performance with each rewatch This is a completely new Melisandre. I wonder if they'll ever do the same with the High Sparrow, make him question his faith? Probably not, since his beliefs are more of an earthly nature and don't depend on what the gods do, really. But it'd be an interesting parallel.

I'm beginning to question if there will be a trial? I mean, with Cersei openly killing (?) Sparrows by the mid-season or so, it doesn't look like she will accept the idea of a trial. Unless.... the High Sparrow eludes Frankengregor's wrath and Tommen becomes his ally as suggested by the episode 6 spoilers. So in that case Cersei will have no choice but to have a trial. (Although the result would be extremely obvious to anyone). I'm pretty sure the scene with the Faith Militant threatening Cersei and her sending Robert Strong on them is after 606. It's visible in this shot that there are now Faith Militant in the Red Keep (they're behind his KG) as per Tommen and Marge's deal with the High Sparrow.
Also I'm fairly sure that this scene
is also within the Red Keep. So it could be that they come to bring her to trial post ep. 606 and THEN Gregor fucks them up.
Damn, those are Faith Militant behind Tommen? Awesome find. So this is "Tommen the Blessed" we are seeing - he's definitely going against his mom then. OK, so the trial is probably still happening

So shit's going to go down in the Red Keep at the end of s6.

OK, so the trial is probably still happening It's gon be lit!! Here's how I'm seeing it be played out. 6x02 is Myrcella's funeral in the Sept. The place is crawling with Faith Militant and Cersei is reluctant to go at all. Over Myrcella's corpse, she speaks to the High Sparrow (playing up the "grieving mother" thing) and declares she wants a trial by combat. 6x06- Margaery is released from prison and her and Tommen become devout Sparrows. 6x07- Tommen goes to pray with the High Sparrow. Cersei goes to see him, but she runs into Lancel. Things get heated, she opts for violence, but before things get too messy, High Sparrow and Tommen show up. They announce that in order to assure his beloved mothers innocent, Tommen has declared Cersei's TbC be by seven, so representatives of each gods can judge her justly. 6x08- Cersei wins anyway and celebrates by getting shitfaced.

I don't think Tommen is going against Cersei. There's KG behind Cersei in that shot too: Its hard for me to predict how exactly KL will go down, but overall I expect it to end the WORST for the tyrells out of all of them. also i hope tommen doesn't die this season. i've always theorized that tommen and cersei's death will happen fairly close to each other.

Only one KG is behind her here though. Gregor. The rest are behind Tommen and now wear Seven-Pointed Stars on their armour.

It's unclear what Marg is up to. But even if she is faking it, I doubt Tommen is. I expect he'll take his newfound godly duty seriously.

can we talk about how funny it is that there was no dorne in the trailer or the released images? casual fans are probably gonna think there's no Dorne in season 6 and then get disappointed when they see sand snakes during the season Even tho we know all the principal actors were on set for S6, seems they said tho that not a very big presence in S6. With no Riverrun there was no Clive Russell , I think we will get a clip of this later. Also the conflict at Riverrun seemed set up for more Big Vista action like Snowbowl so some of that would be interesting. Wondering if we see Razdal mo Eraz since George Georgiou was spotted during production , I am curious what the heck the ending stuff in Meereen is about and Yunkai seems involved.

I think LR7 said that Dorne will have at least as much screentime in season 6 as they did in season 5. so that means Dorne will have at least half an hour of screentime

Just watched the trailer, so good although mad with myself that I haven't been keeping up with the news in the off season. Have to say though my biggest question from coming back here (was mostly a lurker ) is what happened to jack bauer 24 ?? No this isn't the place to ask haha but I was surprised to see his absence seeing as his questions always kept me quite entertained. Even back on the site that must not be named.

"Holiness" was the first quality he mentioned to Tywin back in ep. 403 after all. I think the majority of fans will be cheering for Cersei through quite a bit of the next season. I already saw a bunch of people shocked that they felt sorry for Cersei at the end of season five.

I definitely look forward to Cersei pulling an Aerys.

She's that kind of person who would set the whole world on fire before she dies, so that nothing survives her. Like those real life Kings and dictators that at the time of their death have said: "After me, nothing." In fact, it has been heavily foreshadowed both in the books and the show, that she will burn King's Landing to the ground.
