tbh its kind of a cheesy line but lena delivered it perfectly. i personally dont care if people cheer for cersei or not. i just need her to cause some serious damage and fire before her inevitable death Yep. She's that kind of person who would set the whole world on fire before she dies, so that nothing survives her. Like those real life Kings and dictators that at the time of their death have said: "After me, nothing." In fact, it has been heavy foreshadowed both in the books and the show, that she will burn King's Landing to the ground. yes pretty much. i definitely think she will burn down king's landing. and it would be very compelling to see that the person who once said "when you play the game of thrones you win or you die" to be the one destroying the throne |

Tbh, my love for Davos has solely to do with Liam and how he plays him. I found the character a bit boring in the books. so much this. Davos chapters are my cure for insomnia. I found all of them so fucking boring. And yes, that includes the one with Manderly and his speech. I feel like the reason Davos was s successful a smuggler was because he bored the dockworkers to death. I concur with the Liam praise though. I think Davos and Mel will be at their most interesting now that they are free of Stannis and have to reorient themselves in the world. |

George R R Martin confirms that the Red Carpet S6 premiere will be at LA at Grauman's Chinese. Live JournalI guess that's still April 12? Regional premieres? I don't remember those , none this year. I guess they never had one around me and I live in a very large city. Now I do wonder does George get the screeners? |

Why was it called Red Band Trailer? What does that mean?  It means an R-rated trailer. Which this really wasn't so I'm not sure why they called it that.  I had to google what the red band meant as well. Like you said it, doesn't seem like it should be rated that way. Perhaps in an effort to reduce the chance of leaks, HBO just slapped a red band on it so they wouldn't need to send it out to be rated? I honestly don't know if such things are normally rated or not, but that was the only reason I could come up with. |

I can only think of Benjen or Coldhands. What other relevant character would show up at this point North of the Wall? It's implied that the wildlings are all either dead or South of the Wall. It can't be Bran or a child of the forest. |

Having Benjen save Meera would also be a nice follow up to the massive troll they pulled in the previously on in "Mother's Mercy." |

There was a Joseph Mawle (Benjen) interview from December where he said he hadn't been contacted since season 1. He could be lying of course, although he seemed pretty genuine. And if Benjen is north of the wall, he couldn't really be having "vengeance" with Jon. So I think this is Coldhands (another IrishThrones rumor). It's also worth remembering that the casting call for the child of the forest said that there would be action scenes, and this definitely counts as an action scene. So this could be a child of the forest I guess, though an exceptionally large one. |
