Daznak's was as good as it could be for a TV production. CGI dragon riding was never going to look great, IMO. I love how the fandom now equates major GoT events with "bowl" now. Queenbowl has a nice ring to it.

@konradsmith , are we calling the Climax in Meereen, Slaversbowl or Dragonbowl? Because it might be split up between the last 3 episodes. If Tyrion nearly loses control of the city in 608 and Dany arrives with the Dothraki at the end of that episode. We would have the dragons released and Drogon burning Meereen and the masters in 609, and then Dany sailing for Westeros in 610.

But Queenbowl, that one I like.

Hi guys! This maybe not the right place for it but I just have seen this Jorah picture in tumblr. It looks like promo material but I don't think it was used during season 5, at least I've never seen it. Do you think there is any chance that this is from season 6? or just a photoshoot for season 5 that they never used (most likely)?

Daznak's Pit never held much emotional weight for me in the books, so I had no problems with it in the show. My thoughts when I first read it were "Something is finally happening!" I think my patience for Dany is low at this point, so until she gets to Westeros, I won't be engaged in her story. I also agree with Queen Carol that there is only so much you can do to make dragon riding look real. There is a reason they kept direct interaction between the dragons and humans minimal.

Much more than the direwolves have been on screen.

On the subject of dragons...
I wonder how the dragons will be involved in the season premier episode. I mean... they always play a large part in the opening episode per season
1. The eggs are given to Daenerys by Illyrio. 2. Recently hatched, Daenerys feeds them, the red comet with Osha mentioning dragons 3. Flying over the ship, Jorah and Daenerys discuss how fast they are growing 4. Drogon, Viserion and Rhaegal become wild and abrasive, with Drogon snapping 5. Daenerys walks into the tomb, only to be overwhelmed by what her dragons are doing.
However, for season six... -The Dothraki will probably take Daenerys instantly, and may not go pass the injured Drogon. Or her part in the episode will already start in a Dothraki settlement. -Tyrion would have to be an absolute fool to open that tomb and go down in it. He'll get BBQ'd within seconds.
But the show kind of needs dragons in the first episode. Looks good in the previews and marketing, will encourage people to watch. Pretty much a vast majority of trailers contain dragons. It's a good way to open a season.
So I don't know how'll they will be involved.
I also hope we get more Ghost, Summer and Shaggydog. Nymeria seems too much to ask for.

I hadn't realized they'd featured in every premier. It seems Dany will be without Drogon for some time, so it will have to be one of the other 2 if they're going to be included. I actually could see a scene with Tyrion and his future dragon Viserion.

I could see Tyrion and Varys looking into the Dragon Pit in the premiere but neither would be stupid enough to go in, so I guess it wouldn't be too good a look at them. One possibility is Jorah and Daario seeing Drogon as they track Dany. But really I'd prefer to see Drogon for the first time when he shows up in Vaes Dothrak, just so his being even bigger than in s5 is a more impactful moment.

I read a report some time ago in Los Siete Reinos where they said that Ghost will be much more prominent this season, and it's rumoured to play a big part in Jon's resurrection. Besides, there were some rumours about a scene involving a large pack of wolves. So your wish may be fulfilled soon (I hope so!). About the dragons, I'm not sure if we are going to see them much in the premiere, but we'll get this big scene in Episode 4 with Drogon burning down a Dothraki temple and (I suppose) frying some Khals inside of it. It looks like a big mid season scene, Dracarys-style. I'm sure we'll see a glimpse of that in the trailer.

I'm sure we'll see Drogon during the premier, however, I don't think he'll be playing a big part. It's mostly likely Tyrion having a peek at the other two and getting the shit scared out of him when he sees how large they are.

The dragons need to take a break. Give me DA WOLVEZ. There's only going to be more dragons going forward though. I doubt the direwolves will play a big role in the War for Dawn. But I'm all for more direwolves as well. Especially Ghost!
