I love how this fandom always decides what the next Episode 9 HAS to be before we even have a freaking clue. Ned's Execution Battle of Blackwater The Red Wedding Battle at the Wall Daznak's Pit Snowbowl + (Riverbowl + Slaversbowl ) Queenbowl/KL Showdown My only regret is that Hardhome would have been more worthy of Episode 9 than Daznak's Pit, but whatever. It was a real nice surprise to be blown away by an Ep8.

Yeah, this is just baseless speculation, but we love baseless speculations when we are talking about GOT . I mean, Season 6 hasn't even aired and we area talking about Season 7. But I think Dany's invasion and the consequential alliances that will be forged (both supporting her and against her) will be the prominent event in Season 7, I can see Season 7 ending with fire and blood . And I suspect Euron will be the new big bad guy after the inevitable Bolton's demise, and will be the main obstacle to Dany in her road to King's Landing.

I would prefer an all SNOWBOWL episode tbh. But if it is well-done I'll accept pretty much anything.

Dawnbowl I think at the beginning of season 7 Dany will deal with the ironborn in the reach. Gain the tyrell's trust and respect. When she takes KL the tyrells will turn on Cersei. I think drogon will burn down the red keep in season 8 during the walker invasion.

personally i think the tyrells are in some major trouble soon. they're the only big house who haven't suffered many casualties and blowbacks. its not fair. some tyrells need to die imo.

And I was all for Daznak's as Ep9 moment, but I was a bit underwhelmed by how it went down. It was good. But for some reason I wasn't wowed like I was by other episode 9 moments (or Hardhome). And all in all I think 5x09 was the worst "episode 9" ever (but that's more because of what came before Daznak's... Daznak's was the redeeming feature of that episode IMO).

It could have been better, but it brought on a lot of emotions for me while watching it. From Dany taking Jorah's hand, to Drogon swooping in to save the day, to their flight, I pretty much loved it.

I wouldn't say it was poorly executed, but it was definitely not perfect. Neither was Watchers on the Wall tbh. I think from a cinematic point of view it pretty much was and it actually made me feel something. I still have goosebumps every time I watch this scene: The writing was not a 100% perfect, that's true. But overall it's a much, much better episode than 5x09.
