I would kill for an open world RPG set in Westeros. That would just be too glorious for words Bethesda were planing on making one just before they decided to create Skyrim.. Ha, well I'm kind of glad they didn't, because Skyrim is awesome.

Absolutely amazing. I played a mod where Tullius is Tywin and Ulfric is Eddard. Alduin is Drogon and so on.

Yeah, I love me some video games. Recently I've been playing Bloodborne, which is an amazing game, but man ... New Game+ is fucking brutal. I had no problems with the difficulty on my first playthrough, but on NG+, I'm already having trouble with the first boss. I love the art style of Bloodborne though, as well as all the cosmic, lovecraftian horror elements of its story. Apart from that, I don't seem to be able to put down Dragon Age: Inquisition. Since its release, I've been playing on a regular basis. Some of my favorite games are the Final Fantasies from 6 to 10, MGS Snake Eater, old-school Tomb Raider, all the Dragon Ages, KotoR, all the BioShocks and pretty much everything from Naughty Dog, especially Crash Bandicoot. But there are like hundreds upon hundreds of games that I've played and liked, these are just my absolute favorites. I'm not really into Nintendo's stuff though. I don't know why, maybe it's because I grew up with the PlayStation 1, so I don't have any nostalgic feelings towards characters like Mario or Zelda. I kinda like Pokemon though. The problem I see with modern gaming is, with all the Humble Bundles, free games on PS Plus and Xbox Live, there are so many games that I own, but haven't had the time and/or desire to play yet. I remember when I was little, every new game that my parents bought for me felt exciting, but nowadays, there are so many video games you can get basically for free and I think this kinda diminishes their value. I'm also addicted to DAI. Also got a lot of hours in on last year's XCOM reboot and still mess around on Fallout 3 and Civ 5. Can't really get into the new Civ in outer space.

pc 4 lyfe scrubs I'm too lazy for PC gaming lol. I built my current PC myself and the idea of having to every now and then upgrade is horrific. My power supply died last year and even replacing that was horrid.

My laptop is pretty much always in use anyway, so whenever I'm tired of working I can just boot up Steam or Minecraft, no console loading or bullshit multiplayer connections. I still play console games like Halo and stuff with my friends, but Steam makes buying games so much cheaper and easier. All I have to do is wait a few months and I'll be able to get GTA V for half off.

Anybody here fans of Achievement Hunter? Ray made $19K in his first solo stream today, not counting sub money. Yes, that is NINETEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS. What a lucky dude.

Lately I've been playing only Mount & Blade and Crusader Kings II. The GoT mod for Crusader Kings II can be quite fun

I haven't played Crusader Kings before, but I kind of want to. I love simulators and ever since I got into ASOIAF, I've wanted to play something that simulated feudal society. Aah, when my exams are over I may get it.

Aah, when my exams are over I may get it. It's the perfect game for GoT. You play as the head of a noble family, and after you die, you take control of your heir, and so it goes for generations. You can expand your territory, depose your liege, become king and expand your territory as king. You can do it by war, intrigue or just arranging smart marriages and gaining new titles just by inheritance. You can execute entire families too, and in the GoT mod some families have special types of executions, e.g. the Boltons can flay people, the Arryns can throw them out the Moon Door, the Ironborn can drown them and the followers of R'hllor can burn them alive. It's pretty fun, you should try it!

Big time PC gamer here - hello! I was thrilled to see some of you mention Skyrim, because I'm a massive Bethesda fan, both the Elder Scrolls series as well as Fallout series because I love me some post-apocalyptic games too. I do play the over-popular zombie genre from time to time, but with Walking Dead's popularity, it's starting to get really overdone in the gaming world and I'm somewhat burnt out on it. Now if someone would actually make a decent TWD MMO, or a Game of Thrones MMO I'd be super stoked about that! I've read there's a company or two vying for the rights to collaborate with HBO on a bigger titled game but I'm not keeping up on it. Thank you so much for those links about Crusader Kings 2 - I have read on it and almost played it at one point (I'm a Steam sales junkie, I confess) but now that I see there's a GoT mod, I will *have* to try it out! I have resisted the urge to buy the TellTale Game of Thrones series because it's expensive and I'm not as fan of the story games. I prefer open sandbox rpg games like Skyrim of course where you get to make your character the way you want. If they ever do make an MMO for GoT, I am going to declare for House Blackwood! *Edit: If anyone wants to hook up on steam as friends, I am: steamcommunity.com/id/Envie42/ (same avatar as here!)

Finally a PC gamer! Skyrim is probably my favorite game. The magical part of it is, it never ends! You always have something to do.. and of course there are mods. (Just like the Game of Thrones adaptation) Did you know that Bethesda nearly made a Westeros game instead of Skyrim? It was actually quite close. Skyrim has many similarities with Westeros, if you think about it. I strongly recommend the GoT telltale game. The story is fantastic and they have the original actors. The game was my first telltale game. I prefer open worlds and strategy games, but this was an exception! How much did you buy CK II for? I'll add you on Steam soon.

Sorry for the double post, but thanks to you guys I have spent the last 2 days researching the CK2 mod and now I'm craving it. A few questions before I purchase it. 1. Does the CKII: GOT have a functional multiplayer? For example could we just have a massive multiplayer game with the guys and gals of underthehearttree? 2. Does anyone have any experience of g2a.com? Are they trustworthy? What is their secret behind the dirt cheap prices?
