Do we know what Michelle is up to until December? Is she filming anything? No but the play she's in at the moment goes until September. So she'll be in London until then.

I love that Frey is back, but not sure why this in the LSH thread TBH. ...seriously? We knew that Walder Frey (Bradley) was due to come back after the RW, but we didn't know exactly when. Now it's pretty obvious that he's back in season 6. But I'm sorry, I still find it unlikely to see Michelle Fairley reprise a character who died 3 seasons ago to lead a band of outlaws that will strike revenge against the Freys. It's just stretching it. Even in the books, I never assumed LSH is going to get revenge on Walder. In the show, Sansa is more apt to take revenge on the Freys/Boltons, with the new strength of the northern lords being cast, then a small remnant of outlaws. Heck, I could see Arya doing it the deed more than LSH at this game. When we get some leads on Paul Kaye, Richard Dormer being back, I'll start to buy some sort of connection.

I think she's doing a play in London at the moment, but only until October. So she has time to film a few scenes during the final shoots, correct? Yay!

Like I said before, I really think LSH now has a bigger chance of making an appearance than ever before. If not her, then the Blackfish or Beric. Someone has to antagonize the Freys this season. Unless they give that role to Brienne too

One question though: why exactly do you have to be such a buzzkill? xD Yes, you're absolutely right about everything. I think we all are aware of the fact that the chances of seeing LSH on the show are extremely slim to virtually non-existent. We all know that she could easily be replaced by another character, that the perfect moment to introduce her has passed, and that the return of the Freys doesn't have to mean anything in regards to LSH. But this is obviously just a harmless and fun LSH-Hype thread, I don't quite get what exactly you benefit from coming here and basically telling us, that we're all naive for wanting her back. We were just dreaming, but we know it's not happening, thank you for reminding us.

Do you think we might see Edmure as well now that Walder is back? We really need an update on the Tullys.

So I was just casually playing Bloodborne when this happened: Lady Stoneheart in Bloodborne?! GET HYPE, my friends, R'hllor is sending us signs and they're everywhere. I love the Dark Souls games, this is the main reason I need to upgrade to PS4.

I love the Dark Souls games, this is the main reason I need to upgrade to PS4. I love both Dark Souls games as well, but Bloodborne is better, imo. The core gameplay has remained the same, but Bloodborne feels much smoother than Dark Souls and the lore is absolutely incredible. It's probably the best PS4-exclusive game at the moment.

It's definitely smoother. I do prefer Bloodborne over Dark Souls II, but Dark Souls I is my favorite overall. It was my first Souls experience and the world building incredible. I was so into that game and have the most hours logged into that one. It will always have a special place in my heart

That's a bold statement. Demon's Souls is my favorite just because I played it first. Dark Souls does get a bit choppy at times, I guess because the environments are so massive, which can be annoying in a game where you can die with a single misstep. I'm glad to hear they've smoothed out the gameplay. Also, get hype.

The moment it won me over and forever established itself as one of the greatest games ever made in my eyes, was during the battle with Sif, the Great Grey Wolf (that name alone is so fucking epic). That is still one of my favourite moments in gaming, and one of the coolest and saddest boss battles I've ever experienced in any game. The melancholy music, Sif with a giant sword in her mouth, everything is fucking perfect. Just thinking about it literally gives me chills right now ... and I did not want to kill that fucking wolf, I felt so dirty for having to do it.

I like how the bosses have an interesting backstory and aren't necessarily evil. That was a great fight, that I just barely won. Whenever I beat a boss in that game I post up and help others with the boss for a few hours. I play a tankish character, so I like helping others with tough boss fights.

Yes, I like that about these games. That is also true for Bloodborne, by the way, numerous bosses in that game were once normal people, who were driven mad by extraordinary circumstances. I've never played Demon's Souls, so I can't say anything about it. One thing I think could have been handled better is the way this series conveys lore to the player, almost exclusively through item descriptions. I mean, do that, that's fine, but in Bloodborne, that's basically the only way to learn anything about the world it takes place in, and all the descriptions are so cryptic, that you can interpret them in many different ways. So unless you spend time on YouTube or Reddit, looking up Bloodborne lore, you won't have a single clue what the fuck is happening in the story. And there are barely any NPCs who have something worthwhile or lore-relevant to say. I do kinda like that these games are cryptic as fuck, but Bloodborne takes it to a whole new extreme ...

Soon. "The tall girl knelt awkwardly, unsheathed Renly's longsword, and laid it at her feet. 'Then I am yours, my lady. Your liege man, or ... whatever you would have me be. I will shield your back and keep your counsel and give my life for yours, if need be. I swear it by the old gods and the new.' 'And I vow that you shall always have a place by my hearth and meat and mead at my table, and pledge to ask no service of you that might bring you into dishonor. I swear it by the old gods and the new. Arise.' As she clasped the other woman's hands between her own, Catelyn could not help but smile. How many times did I watch Ned accept a man's oath of service? She wondered what he would think if he could see her now. "--- "There was only one woman that the Maid of Tarth had ever sword to serve. 'That cannot be,' she said. 'She's dead.' 'Death and guest right,' muttered Long Jeyne Heddle. 'They don't mean so much as they used to, neither one.' Lady Stoneheart lowered her hood and unwound the grey wool scarf from her face. Her hair was dry and brittle, white as bone. Her brow was mottled green and grey, spotted with the brown blooms of decay. The flesh of her face clung in ragged strips from her eyes down to her jaw. Some of the rips were crusted with dried blood, but others gaped open to reveal the skull beneath. Her face, Brienne thought. Her face was so strong and handsome, her skin so smooth and soft. 'Lady Catelyn?' Tears filled her eyes. 'They said ... they said you were dead.'"

I'm putting money on Brienne killing Walder Frey. Even though it's not her vengeance to be had (just like her other two kills), the general direction of her character is basically 'she who ties up loose ends we can't find out a way to write out'. Expect her epic journey to involve finding Gendry, reuniting the Ironborn, killing Walder and uniting all the northern lords because she's so cool and shit.
