That was one hell of an epic last stand. I regret all my negative comments about Stannis after episode 9. Immediately when episode 10 began I realized that I couldn't stop caring for him. Remember sati, this is what you hoped for.  |

During my rewatch of the scene where he sees that he has lost and will die and still draws his sword with the epic Bolton cavalry music being stopped by the epic Mannis music made me cry. Stannis!!!

I hoped he at least wins big and goes down heroic, not this bullshit My only consolation is that hopefully the show will give Stephen exposure and he will be in more things I can watch, thank God there is the Tunnel 2 to look forward to otherwise I'd just go to London and lie on the pavement in front of his house begging him to hold me |

I am having difficult time.
I plan to root Euron for the Throne. But he is a maniac! Tommen is too incompetent, Stannis is dead, there is no fAegon and Dany... well, she's Dany.
I root for Davos, LC Bran and Roose, but who to root for the Iron Throne?

I still believe that Stannis will win the battle of the Ice in the books I am having difficult time. I plan to root Euron for the Throne. But he is a maniac! Tommen is too incompetent, Stannis is dead, there is no fAegon and Dany... well, she's Dany. I root for Davos, LC Bran and Roose, but who to root for the Iron Throne? Euron is a sick pirate king, no thanks. Davos is my favorite at the moment, I plan on supporting Sansa, Blackfish and other Northern lords in S6. But who's claim will I support? There's no one left?! Dany or Tommen?! Northern independence it is then! |

And I am both so I see my future clearly That's horrible. But hey, maybe there is hope for both Stoneheart and Stannis. David and Dan have made some very questionable decisions in the past, maybe this is just another one of them, introducing Stoneheart three years after Cat died. Personally, I don't really count on it and I've managed to emotionally distance myself from the show, so I don't take this stuff to heart anymore, but I wouldn't write off Stoneheart entirely, not yet. This feels bad.. but I already have it bad enough because of my excessive love for Wyman Manderly and the Umbers.. The show has a handful of my book favorites left Manderly would have been epic, his "The North Remembers" speech is goosebumps inducing. Another huge missed opportunity on the showrunner's part, for sure. |

This is totally offtopic but I just realized I can't possibly understand how is it possible that book Stannis loses the Battle of Ice. It's easy on the show, where the Boltons have more men, but in the books...I assume Urine Euron somehow steals Rhaegal and becomes his rider. IMO in the books fAegon will ride one of the dragons and in the show, Euron. |

Tyrion and Varys will have a role to play in Dany's landing. She'll probably ditch Meereen and slavery will be restored, she's sad but she had to make this sacrifice. Then she will land and after one day of ruling the 7 kingdoms, she is poisoned.  |
