It's going to be interesting to see how Stannis will deal with the siege. He has no siege weapons anymore.

Are we still expecting Yara? Gemma been listed the last two episodes, seems, someone said, she would indeed be in E10, and now it seems at Pyke. The way things have gone, I think no darn Dorne next year, so they can pull the Ironborn into S6. A casting call suggests that. There is some goofy and colorful stuff they could do with the Iron Islands in season 6. It's funny to think they may go back and grab Greyjoy stuff from the last two novels , so that could be stuff , in part , not from Winds. |

Well book wise Varys was indeed off the page so guess Conleth Hill will show up?
IMDB does not list Aidan Gillen in E10, as usual I can't believe that! LF starts all this stuff and then, wait till next year!
I had guessed Ian Gelder would be back very briefly in E8, man what a brief appearance in season 5!
Every character in season 5 threads gonna be covered?

I think the ep will open with Meereen, we will see everybody sad because Dany flew without them. Then we will have long shots of Winterfell and KL, with some Dorne and Bravos as well. Then we will have a long sequence on the Wall, with FTW, and Daenerys will close the ep.
Unfortunately, if I think objectively, I don't see the Iron Islands or LSH fittint in this. The Tyrells trial will be next year too

why?
That trailer makes me wanna see Bolton heads on a spike the memory of the last episode makes me wanna see Stannis' head on a spike.
Please tell me Mel used some of the stuff she mentioned in season 4, that she said will make a man do anything or somesuch. I sincerely doubt it though.
now who do I root for?
Also, I hope Tyrion, Jorah and Daario arent sat on those steps all episode discussing how kwl Dany is. That would suck.

I think they all know that while Dany has got power to control Drogon to a certain extent, but she's far for being his commander in all aspects. And the Team Meereen knows that. Imo there will be discussions on how to rule the city now and they will have different opinions on that matter. |

Well, I expect Cersei, Arya, Jon and Sansa/Winterfell to have major screentime. Then we still need some Dorne (is it confirmed for 5x10)? Then we will have one small scene with Dany and another one with the remaining Meereen crew.
So maybe it's like this:
Cersei 10 minutes
Remaining King's Landing 6 minutes
Arya 8 minutes
Jon 10 minutes
Sansa/Brienne/Boltons/Stannis 12 minutes
Meereen 4 minutes
Daenerys 4 minutes
Dorne 5 minutes? Is it in?
59 minutes in total. Maybe I gave Cersei too much screentime.

I wonder if it will be presented as a hopeless endeavour (without the means for a real siege) that will be interrupted by Sansa escaping. This would force Roose and Ramsay's hand since she's the key to holding the North and they would have to leave the confines of Winterfell in order to get her back. That's how I'd do it if I needed to adapt that confrontation. |
