There's honestly probably about 4 people in the entire show audience who could tell you which character Bowen Marsh is on the show. Congrats on being in that group. They focused on Bowen for about a second, but yeah nobody has said his name. |

Oh and btw, I have to concede that I was wrong about Bowen Marsh in the show. His CV info appears to have been incorrect; it said he'd only be in four episodes, when he's been in six actually IIRC. Since he's popped up in both ep. 507 and now 509. So it is likely he'll show up in this ep. too as one of the stabees.
He's still basically a featured extra though. Olly and Thorne will be the familiar faces and Olly will be the one who cries.

But they showed Bowen during this episode. They did. But King Tommen's point is that there's not many people saying, "Oh look Bowen". They're going, "Jeez, these officers are grumpy." So yeah, he's in the show and will act out part of his book role, but only a select few of us will know that really. |

I'm expecting that Marg will be released until her trial like she does in the books. Yeah Natalie Dormer said in an interview that her character has caught up with the books. We know that Marg in the books was released to the custody of Randyll Tarly, who is most definitely being cast for Season 6, so I do wonder how they're going to do that. I expect her trial to maybe be around Episode 2 or 3 next season. |

Per Liam's interview; Davos finds out what happens to Shireen next week. This has to tie into what he said earlier this year about Davos' job is keeping Stannis on track and that because of something Mel does (obviously the burning) he bumps up against this and it leads to a very serious and dramatic conclusion/dramatic head. I think Davos leaves Stannis.

Alright. My tipsy trailer analysis:
So we open with a shot of the place where Dany and Drogon will meet Khal So-and-So.
Then we get Dany's Small Council looking gormless sitting on the steps in her throne room.
Then Jon pondering something WF-related and Sam's voice. Meaning he still hasn't been sent to Oldtown. Hmm.
Cersei confessing to the HS. Lena acting up a storm.
Jaime repeating his famous line from ep. 302. To who? Myrcella?
Mel seeing that the sacrifice worked. The weather's turned in their favour. Icicles a-dripping. Carice a-smugging.
Stan's army ready to rock the shit. Stan looking awesome. Bearded and alpha. I still love him though he'll likely die in 510. I know a lot of folks have turned on him now, but haven't y'all heard of utilitarianism? Gosh. Sometimes you gotta kill a kid, man... He announces the beginning of WF's siege.
Arya in the Hall of Faces. She says "you're no one." Dunno who to.
Tyrion saying, "You betrayed her." I guess bitching at Jorah again.

We see her in the Hall of Faces in the promo after all. So she'll have some HOBAW action too in 510, where saying that in conversation seems more appropriate.
As for how she'll kill Meryn potentially with Needle, here's my two cents. Maybe she'll find him on his way to the brothel and say she knows what he's after but she's cheaper and there's a nice place she could take him to where no one would hear them at it. Meryn, being a fuckhead, would follow along. And then she'd take him to that same spot where she hid Needle and while the piece of shit got ready for her, she'd murder him. Hopefully graphically.

Do you think Dany will still be flying and land there, or they'll already be landed when they cut to this scene? I really dunno. I guess the latter would be a ton cheaper. Tbh I don't care either way. I'd like for her to remark, however forced it would seem for her to just be talking to a dragon, that this is the spot where Drogo died and the spot where lovely Drogon was born. |
