Isn't Samberg friends with Kit. He probably found out from him anyway. Co-stars anyways and also for an HBO thing. But really it's an open secret so I doubt he had to ask really. ____________ Insert obvious cringeworthily horny Konradsmith Sophie-related comment here.

So this is pretty great. Although a travesty that Lena didn't win but Peter did. Makes you think maybe Alfie, Iain or Kit might have stood a chance after all.

HA! I knew they'd win Best Drama. I'm so happy for them. They deserved it. GoT had the best season out of all the nominees. I understand that some people were not happy with S5, but please explain to me how these other shows had better seasons, because I can't see how they did. Hardhome would have been my choice, though. But Mother's Mercy was a great episode.

One thing , special kudos should go to Michele Clapton and Gemma Jackson for some of the damn-est production design I have ever seen in visual media. Also five years of cinematography that would be then envy of any Oscar contender.

Yes, I agree that this was an award for the 5 seasons collectively, but even if I look at the individual seasons of all the nominees, I come to the conclusion that GoT was the best. I've watched all the other nominees and these shows did not have better seasons than GoT in its fifth year.

Makes one wonder why Conleth Hill sort of hid for about two years? He's a very funny man.

I hated the majority of Season 5, but Game of Thrones is still one of my favourite shows of all time. Though I'm extremely disappointed that Dinklage won an Emmy and Headey didn't. I don't get it. In terms of acting, this was probably Headey's best season and Dinklage's weakest, oh well. Best writing for Mother's Mercy is ridiculous, imo. I didn't like that episode at all, but ... whatever, take the Emmy D&D, give me LSH next season and we'll all be happy.

After this comment I hope people start shipping us instead of you and Basil. Back off! In the end it makes the most sense for you and @kairos to be the most-shipped duo on the forum. I mean I'm straight and only half-German so that puts me at odds with y'all...but I just agreed so strongly with his above post that, like with Nikolaj, I kindof had to throw my hat into the ring here.

Because I know if I started to think about that I would get very, very angry. But at least Headey was nominated. She gave the second best performance the show has ever had. The best performance (Michelle Fairley in 3x09) didn't even get nominated back then. Also, don't listen to @konradsmith. He's just glad that GoT won and that he's not the only one happy about it. I think it's still his westeros.org trauma. The poor guy! Also, I'm yours only... DUH!

THANK YOU FOR NOT AWARDING PODESWA. But yay, David Nutter! Was Podeswa there? I thought Nutter did better work on E10 than E9... but , Miguel Sapochnik won the prize for season 5, and just possibly influenced the series win for 2015.

I'm still really sad for Lena That was a crime for sure. And we won't forgive or forget it. She's the best. Especially now that she's only recently had her daughter and she's still looking EXCELLENT and going out and about so confidently. Hopefully she'll at least win something as consolation for what she deserves from these Emmy bastards. But if she doesn't, I'm certain she was at least part of the consideration for the show to win the bigger awards that it did this year.

Andy Samberg was so fucking good (and hot). (Love the random Les Mis reference in this).
