Do you think Varamyr will be just a random warg wildling leader or will he tell us something about skinchanging?

Probably just a random warg leader. They only have so much time after all, and I imagine much of it will be fighting

If Jon wargs Ghost post-FTW then he might have some lines about how people can live on in their animals for a while after they die. Just to telegraph that happening and show that it's a thing.

Love seeing the Hardhome focus here. Can't wait to see how the episode turns out. I'm very excited for these last three episodes, after it took the first seven to really set the story back up again after season 4. I'm fine with story-building phases, it's just fun to get to the action phase at the end

I asked in the other thread too but I'll put it here also: Who is the wildling woman with mussel shells on her chest? Edit: Yay me not reading the caption above it. She's apparently a "wildling chieftaness" ... wonder if she has any dialogue.

Yeah says she's a wildling chieftaness (I edited my post ) but a Val type wildling woman would be cool!

I think she'll have some have some dialogue. The actress is coming of a main role in the newest Pitch Perfect movie so I'd be surprised if she didn't play a some what important role at Hardhome.

She also got famous with playing one of the main characters in the great Danish TV series Borgen, and came to quite some international prominence with it.

On one casting news thread at WoW I've read she is a recurrent role for the rest of the season, so I would assume she has some lines. Also the actress RTed a tweet where her role is mentioned as Karsi, a wildling. (link here: )

Well she would make a fantastic "Val" type role if they were going to morph any of the females they left out into one of the leaders. Since it's confirmed she'll be in the rest of the season, I have to believe she's going to play some prominent role after escaping Hardhome. Maybe she will be the voice of reason that gets the men-folk to stop being stubborn and settle the gift.
Do you suppose she's an amalgamation of Mother Mole?!

Envie, I do think she'll probably be a type of Val. She is a leader of wildlings and participates in negotiations apparently. That is not so quite so far off from what Val was after all, granted the title of princess was given by the crows and Stannis's people. But it was she that convinced Tormund to come and broker a deal with Jon Snow in the books.
Interesting you mentioned Mother Mole. I'm not sure how much I remember of her. I thought the old lady was more of a seer, but I can't be sure. We will have to wait and see what Karsi's magical attributes are. If any.

Mother Mole was a wildling prophet of sorts, like Maggy the Frog witch-type character. She's actually the one who convinced the wildlings to go to Hardhome in the first place because she had a vision of ships carrying them across the narrow sea ... which ended up being slaver ships.

This is shaping up to be a sneaky-awesome setpiece. It sounds like they're going all out but not building it up so that the audience isn't prepared for the scope of the carnage. Get significantly hyped. www.ew.com/article/2015/05/31/game-thrones-hardhomeOne of the biggest action scenes in Game of Thrones history is tonight. But unlike the climactic Thrones battles in previous years, this sequence arrives almost entirely without any build up. Last year’s war for Castle Black and the second season’s Battle of the Blackwater were clashes that characters saw coming well in advance. Without giving away any details about what happens during tonight’s eighth episode, Sunday’s “Hardhome” has a sequence that will rank among the show’s most spectcular moments.
“I think [HBO] has realized that to keep people engaged with this show that the big set pieces each year have to be bigger than the ones before,” Harington said. “[The Battle of Castle Black in] episode 9 last year was the hardest thing I’ve done. This was twice as hard as that. It was exhausting.”

Mother's Mole is the one who leads the Wildlings to Hardhome, so it's a possibility. Wasn't Val kind of glamorous in the books? Karsi seems a bit more rough around the edges, like Ygritte.
