i never thought they would appear this season... brotherhood without banners is gone Rickon and osha were confirmed not in this season They were? I mean I know they would not have a story (well they don't in the books) but a quick sneak was not out of the question. mmm i really don't think they have time for it, but with bran not in this season they may give us a quick sneak peak i guess its possible. Although Davos hasn't even left Stannis yet so its looking unlikely.

Sansa made sure that Ramsay remembered that Walda is a huge threat to him. And yes, it may well backfire. But Sansa is trying things. She tried Theon + candle. She grabbed the pointy tool. And she tried to set Ramsay against Roose. And she tried the latter two before she knew that Theon had betrayed her - she knew better than to just assume that would work out. She's obviously suffering greatly, but she's also trying her damndest to do something with the measly cards she has - she's not just sitting back and hoping for rescue. Agree. Sansa is showing.... no I can't say the word, just...can't. Sansa is showing the A word. Astuteness , the word you're looking for is astuteness I mean, baiting Ramsasy by telling him that he is a bastard and that Tommen is a bastard too was pretty clever, is a good way to make him see Walda's baby as a threat. Pretty astute indeed

So what the hell does Tommen do now? Is Kevan coming back? I have no idea. Maybe the faith will execute Tommen to ratchet up sympathy for Cersei. Also, I think he has to. Theres no one else Tommen can really call on.

This 10 episode season thing is now a worse curse than it used to be.

Just as a clarification for those asking, Sansa appeared to grab an old-timey corkscrew as her future Myranda-shivving weapon. They were walking past a number of kegs and it looked like each one of them had a similar tool on top of them to get them open when needed. I started to reply to someone that I thought that looked like a corkscrew of some sort but then thought better of it until I could re-watch the scene and see it zoomed in. Yeah that was a keg tapper I believe! Thanks you two. I couldn't figure out what it was for the life of me!

So what the hell does Tommen do now? Is Kevan coming back? I can now see Kevin coming back to KL to help Tommen now that Cersei is in prison. W Would he be able to get to KL quickly enough? I mean that's too fast even for jetpack travel. As for Sansa, I love how much she's showing her growth. She's trying all sorts of things to get herself out of this situation. I think there's definitely something bad brewing with Ramsey and his "new" sibling. Just as Roose said in the books, nothing worse than a young heir. I couldn't help but notice Sansa's reaction to Jon being LC of the Watch and made me wonder if the show will have her assume Alys Karstark's role. Anyone think she might flee on horse back to the Wall? I don't know if that would happen this season since Sophie says her finale will be ambiguous but I really felt as if they were setting that up.

The Sandsnakes should have let Bronn die, the whole antidote thing took away from the scene.

There was so much great acting in this episode! My favorite exchanges were between Sansa and Theon and Cersei and Tommen, but really, everyone killed it. I will no longer doubt Tyene's ability to seduce anyone. That look on her face before she unveiled her perfect bewbs was stellar. I wish they had given us an intro to the sand snakes like that one. I liked the antidote bit, assuming the point of it is that Tyene decided it would be smart to make an ally of Bronn. I think she did. I cried like a baby over Aemon. I'm really going to miss that character. And Sam and Gilly..."oh my".

The Sandsnakes should have let Bronn die, the whole antidote thing took away from the scene. I like Bronn but I totally agree with this. That scene was dumb. Bronn is in jail rendered stupid by a woman's boobs and vadge. Completely unnecessary. I just watch the Dorne scenes and think this was better than having Arianne on the show? Is Myrcella evoking season 1 Sansa feelings here..."I love Trystane and I will stay here and marry him!" I still hate the Winterfell plot/storyline. Sansa thinking that her and Theon could possibly bond over mutual extreme trauma almost immediately seems to indicate she has good ideas but very poor long range planning. Why trust him with the candle at this point? Poor North Remembers Lady. I did like the scene where Sansa tells Ramsey about how Walda's child has an advantage over him especially since he was legitmized by Tommen, who is also a bastard. I like the fact that she still has some fight in her and I hope she doesn't lose it. I agree with who said that he's going to take it out on her and not Walda though. I do believe that shiv is for Myranda, I don't think she uses it on Ramsey. That's too good to be true. Honestly, if Brienne is certain Sansa is in trouble, she should just go. I just really hope that Sansa's storyline is not reducing to her battling Ramsey over Theon's soul. I really did not need to have Gilly almost raped. And I found it unbelievable how Sam could recover so quickly after taking several hard punches to the head. TV characters seem to have that magical ability. If we had to have a Sam and Gilly sex scene that was better than a boat en route to Oldtown. Where they are definitely going by the end of the season. Maester Aemon's deathbed request to her and the near rape is ensuring that. The Kings Landing stuff was the best part of the episode, except for Tommen's acting. Jonathan Pryce was terrific and the scene where the High Septon knocks Oleanna down a peg had me clapping and I like Oleanna! The scene was Cersei and Margarey in the black cells was well done and probably the best work Natalie Dormer has been given to do on this show. Loved Cersei's arrest, again also well done. And yes, I believe this will bring Kevan Lannister back to town. I usually bag on Emilia Clarke's acting but I was glad she showed some emotion that looked like anger when she saw Jorah in the fighting pit. I give the show kudos for streamlining Tyrion's plot and having him get to her soon. I think that has been the best change from books to show that has been made this season. Though the scene was brief, I liked the scene with Stannis and Melisandre. I thought it was humorous that the show decided they would "forget" Balon Greyjoy was named in the three leeches. I know many of you, including me, love Stannis but I have to laugh at his hypocrisy a little bit: it's okay to burn other people of royal blood just not his daughter. How about we don't burn anybody unless they are dead first, Stannis? I really do think Shireen does not get sacrificed. I am really thinking we might not see any Greyjoys besides Theon for the rest of the show.

Who was the guy who freed Tyrion and why? I keep wondering this, too. Anyone? I'm going with "why wouldn't he?" that guy didn't look like a slaver, maybe he is anti-slavery, maybe he thought that if Tyrion wanted to go into the fighting pit he should be allowed to go. Sometimes people help each other just because they can, no hidden agenda. What confuses me is why was Tyrion in chains in the first place.

I'm just laughing here - so she is standing in the snowstorm waiting for candle light? Is it really better than Stoneheart, David? Is it, Dan? Yes.

Who was the guy who freed Tyrion and why? I keep wondering this, too. Anyone? I guessed that was a champion. Someone self-possessed enough to decide he wanted to help out the little guy who was struggling, but still one of the pit fighters. I bet we'll see him again fighting.
