Oh and by the way good luck to Cogman on twitter. After what was done to Joss Whedon I can only imagine - and kinda hope - his notifications are exploding.

Would have been 9 without the Sansa/Ramsey stuff. I rated it a 7. I thought it was a solid episode. The Good: Arya/Jaquen Tyrion/Jorah The trial and arrest of Loras and Margarey Mr.Eko! Cersei and Oleanna sniping at each other No Jon/Dany shoehorned in the episode just to have them in there. Glad they sat this one out. Alfie Allen's acting Sansa's wedding dress The way the scene was filmed The bad: Sansa/Ramsey in general Dorne needs some character development and screen time Um, Bryan Cogman, my cat is more of a hardened woman than Sansa is. There was nothing about that scene that communicated that Sansa is a hardened woman. Not using Alexander Siddig and Nikolaj Coster Waldau enough. Tommen is completely inept. Bran is a better king than Tommen. There is nothing that even communicates 'woman', she looks so innocent in that dress! Has Cogman gone mad? I think between writing Magic the Gathering movie script and Game of Thrones, his brain might be fried. Sansa looked surprised that Ramsey was not going to leave her alone after the wedding. That does not communicate hardened woman.

Dorne. No words. I don't even feel hatred towards any of the sand snakes, they just bore me to death. And could Obara please stop making the face of Grumpy Cat? I liked the rest despite the ending, although it was an impressing performance by Alfie Allen.
@igrewupinkl I was genuinely impressed by this too. Sophie really expressed that confidence in her voice towards Myranda. I thought Finn Jones was excellent in this trial scene. I never felt any connection to show-Loras (which is obviously not his fault), but this episode I loved his acting
Overall 8/10

8 - not the best but since there's more Dorne in the future it'll likely drop further +Tyrion and Jorah were excellent in every second of screentime +Arya in the Hall of Faces, though I have to complain about how dark it is in that entire building +Cersei and Olenna +The hearing/trial was epactually pretty good (though that fucking birthmark! ) +The way THAT scene was shot +Alfie Allen -Littlefinger - seriously what even is he doing (D&D's explanation is "He is being Littlefinger") -Dorne -The Sand Snakes - even Myranda has had more development than they have - and for gods sake that acting! ("I wasn't asking!" -grinds teeth menacingly-) -Dorne -Bronn's lack of common sense to just slice the whip at any point -The whole episode felt a bit anti-climactic - it just seemed ... empty without Stannis and Jon (and Dany ...) +Actually Dorne was so bad it was funny and I'm gonna say it was positive -Oh and how could I forget my biggest nitpick: "There it is. The Water Gardens."

9. I would have given it a 10, but the dornish stuff was crap except Bronn singing and Doran and Hotah's small scene. I am seriously furious about people rating this a 7 just because of the Sansa and Ramsay's scene. While it was disgusting to some people, I don't see a reason to vote the episode badly just because of it. I didn't give Baelor a bad number just because my favourite character (back then, there was no Stannis or Roose) died. I felt 100% more sympathy to Reek when he was watching the rape-abuse-porn than to Sansa, who was the victim. I even cried for Theon. I'll propably die when I see the weirwood confession. Pros and cons + Roose + Theon + The discussion about Tyrion's dick and "cock merchants" + Tyrion confessing + The Dornishman's Wife + Doran + Snow in Winterfell + Sansa telling Myranda to fuck off + Malko + Olenna is back - Sand Snakes - Ellaria - Myrcella & Trystane romance crap + Why do they have to keep their kissing secret? They are betrothed to each other, what is this. Over all very shit. I smell D&D - Sand Snakes acting (especially Obara, Nymeria is fine) - No Stannis - Ramsay & Sansa - The Waif is a bitch - Olyvar should die - Where were the northern lords from the wedding seremony? - Sand Snakes fighting skills EDIT: Oh, I forgot. I liked HoBaW scenes and Littlefinger is totally dying. What the fuck is that dude doing?

He said he was going to be absent from social last night because he wasn't going to be able to watch the Mad Men finale until today, but he also threw in that it wasn't GoT-related. Uh nice try, buddy.

I don't see why Cogman should have to answer the insane trolls and incoherent ranting he's bound to face on twitter after this episode.

He doesn't engage anymore, he learned his lesson. I'm sure he'll get a lot of crap in his mentions but if I were him, I just wouldn't look at them for the next few days.

Gave it a seven. Not because of scene in particular. It's just that I reserve higher marks for eps that hit it out of the park and this one, while holding my interest had no "Holy crap!" moments.

Somebody didn't like it at all. You know, there are people with different opinions. I gave it a 10, but can understand if somebody didn't like it. It was very controversial, you cannot deny it.

So my opinion is that a 1 is a little over the top (or would it be under the bottom?) based on that one, toned down scene

But some people did not like the Sand Snakes scene either, and also, Olyvar on the trial against Loras using the birthmark as evidence... Like I said, I liked the episode, but I can get why some people didn't, even though I seriously disagree.

The birthmark scene actually having relevance later and turning out not to be just filler is the most hilarious turn of events ever

I really liked that touch! I think it goes to show that people are often too quick to lambast the show over such things.

Wow, I thought you were really going to hate it, but instead you rated it higher than most people here did After a full rewatch and reading a few discussions, I removed my 7 and gave it an 8 now.

Are the sand snakes meant to be comic relief? The three most dangerous women in Dorne can't kill an aging sellsword and a one armed man? What is this? They're by far the biggest dissapointment for me this episode, sad to say.
