According to reviews, Stannis is going to be more like his book self. Finally!
Extremely simplified Stannis's plot
1. Wall stuff (Winterfell offer, Lord Commander election, organizing, *the nod*, conversations with Jon and Sam, hopefully he makes the same comments to Janos Slynt as he does in the books)
2. Leaving south (Whole team Dragonstone with him, hunger, extreme weather conditions, hopefully burning the cannibals, Melisandre returns to the wall, camp on fire??)
3. The siege/battle begins (Might not even be in S5, Sansa and Reek reporting for duty, hopefully Asha too by now)

So I think setting up Stannis vs Roose/Ramsay may be the ending of his arc this year. Or they kill him and I drown in my own tears |

I think that with my luck - Stannis has shit to do at last and we didn't get character posters for the FIRST TIME this year - I assume that Battle of Ice is gonna be off screen We might get the actual Battle of Winterfell on screen in S6  |

I did see the Stannis scruff in the new promos out......and he is looking good.
I do get the feeling that some of the most fun this year will be the snarkfest that is Stannis and Jon, at least I hope so.
