I think Brienne will send Pod to infiltrate Winterfell, as Roose would recognize her from Harrenhal. Pod will fail in his attempt and gets flayed by Ramsay (Roose will flay LF). Brienne finds out somehow and decides to go in by herself. While she is inside the castle, she spots Theon and Sansa escaping. Brienne decides to help them and dies, shot by Ramsay with an arrow. Theon and Sansa escape to Mannis' camp. You two and your obsession with flaying... In Season 6 there will be a scene where Roose flays Ramsay alive, removes his own face, what reveals the face of a White Walker behind it. Then the episode ends, with this playing on the background: It will happen. It is known. And if it won't I will make the scene myself. I just need to get Iwan's and Michael's phone numbers.

I also think it'll be the wedding night. Maybe she'll also decide to withdraw to that tower. For her own safety. And because of the candle. (And Bran.) But that house where Pod and Brienne are staying right now seems to be quite away from WF. And we don't know whether the old man gets to deliver the letter Brienne talks about. I think perhaps they are intending the old man at the house/inn or wherever to be in connection with the old woman inside Winterfell, like some sort of underground rebellion thing or spy network. It seems a bit contrived that the man Brienne talks to just coincidentally happens to be part of the sympathizers and Brienne was stupid to be that outright bold in asking him because what if he had squealed to the Boltons or been on their side? But anyways, nitpicks aside on that one, it's plausible enough that the candle lighting thing is in cahoots with Brienne and Pod and one or both of them get inside somehow. I still think they are about as stealthy as Scooby Doo and Shaggy in typical cartoon style, but whatever!

There's actually kinda funny suggestion in that hateful thread over westeros how amusing it would be if that old lady is just crazy and Sansa finally light the candle and no one comes to help But the writing is less sophisticated than usual this season (A TARGARYEN ALONE IS A TERRIBLE THING *Jon enters*) so I bet these two are supposed to represent what was the best part of ADWD

It's gotten progressively worse each season to the point it feels like only if you're show critical and a book purist are you even going to find anything to say that's useful without starting a flame war from someone. I'm also surprised at the number of unsullied who are trying to keep up and arguing stuff that doesn't even make sense from a book standpoint. Not that I expect the show to follow the book but there's canon from the books you can't ignore when making wild speculations. Anyways - I think each season has had some real humdinger dumb writing along with some awesome stuff. The whole "Yara" story arc, right up to her breaking in to try and rescue Theon and then the entire party running away like a bad Benny Hill skit for example. I don't rag on it much because I have good perspective and appreciate all the parts and things about the show I do like far more than the mostly minor (and a few major) issues there seem to be each season with weird and inappropriate plots.

I think that's just before her bath. I know it's pretty impossible to tell, but her hair doesn't look red at all so I think it's still dyed.

Still between this, the crypt scene in 504 and her signal to her "friends in the North", there's a pretty big candle motif going on in her storyline.

It's not 100% certain yet, but from the brief clip of her in the bath in the promo, it looks like she has her red hair, and they made a point of not showing her at the wedding (Roose, Ramsay and Theon all got a look in except her) which I think is just to hide the fact that she's gone back to red.

I see. Your theory would make sense. The Unsullied will be disappointed to see that "super badass player Darth Sansa" is gone.

Haha I don't think that Sansa every existed and was a wishful fabrication by show fans. Her 'transformation' was purely for show and for Littlefinger's benefit since she proved to him she could play his deception game. He's the one deceived however - oh, and the show fans. I'll be pleasantly surprised if they write in some clever tactics for her game at Winterfell. But considering her opponents, I'm not going to place any bets.

Her game so far is eye rolling and throwing smug remarks at dinner table. Also visiting kennels filled with rabid dogs based on the advice of some random chick

The transformation taking place during the course of a single episode was always a little (well, very) tricky to swallow. At least this stretches it out somewhat.

Nope, it was just the costume and the hair color. Even though she has potential to play the game. We'll see, she did show Littlefinger that she's not a dumb little girl anymore. For her first real test as a player, she's thrown against the Boltons. The job couldn't get any harder.

Oh ... and waggling sausages as penis jokes - lets not forget that!

Also the candles in the shot of her in the mirror and the first tub shot look like the same ones. So it would make even more sense given the layout of the room, that when her eye moves to the left in the gif, that she's looking at someone coming through the door.

I kinda want to see Pod flayed alive. The Boltons really need to kill a known and sympathetic character Was Robb Stark not enough?
