 We need this thread for two reasons: 1. To cheer dany4eva up! 2. Because it would be weird if it wasn't here  Unless there is a chance some of you didn't see my mad ramblings, here - cinematiccorner.blogspot.com/2014/06/about-lady-stoneheart-and-why-excluding.htmlBut here is the current update: CONS of situation: - Brienne is heading North in her asinine quest to chase after Sansa, whom she didn't even bother to talk to in KL and who pretty much tells her to ef off in upcoming eps - Brienne mentions her crush to Renly (casual viewers go "who?") leading me to believe she wants to kill my baby and that is unaccaptable - Hibberd clickbait insisting she is cut and providing quotes from the writers PROS of situation: - in said 'articles' no one ever stated 'she is cut' - we still don't know what becomes of Brienne's story - we still don't know where Jaime goes after Dorne - Walder Frey is said to return in future seasons - the show keeps building up Starks revenge I'd say the chance of her appearing is somewhere between me getting to see Dillane shirtless on this show and me seeing Dillane shirtless in person so about 5% to 0,00001% but hey, hope is a powerful thing  |

I'll add another thing to the 0.000001% chance of hope. During the season 4 San Diego Comic Con panel one of the fans started to ask a question about Lady Stoneheart and was shut down by the moderator (I believe it was Craig Ferguson). It would have been the perfect time for D&D to address it and the fact that they have not directly done so, not even to their PR person James Hibberd, is very curious to me. They've certainly have had time and ample opportunity to explain why she is not included (as they have done with why Bran is not in this season) and they have not done that.
I know the chances are slim of her appearing. I expect the storyline will be handled in some kind of way probably using existing characters. I won't lie, I am disappointed that it's very likely we get no LSH on the show.

I have to admit my confidence is pretty down now on LSH ever appearing now. I think it's possible that Brienne, Pod and Jaime may have their characters die by the end of the season. D&D are trying to shrink this story down. In some ways, I get it. Still kind of sad though.

But the build up can be done in 2-3 eps...just look how they did Stannis arriving at the Wall and basically just slapped Mhysa scene in 'previously on' But it contains my favorite Stannis shot so I cannot complain  |

I want her in so bad but I think it's totally too late now. S4 finale was our last hope and her not being in it killed me a bit inside. They could have possibly done it later this season with Brienne but the chances of that are slim. Sigh. Could have been so epic *pours one out*

Given all the ink that's been spilled over her absence, they'd do themselves some service and just come out with it. Mattpeto, I have Jaime as the character who will probably die in book 6. I could see the show offing him this season. He'll die doing something heroic, I bet. |
