Hmm.. ok, that makes sense too. They have SO much to cram into these last three episodes ... my head is spinning! If they pace the next three well, it's going to be like one extended finale. I can hardly stand it, and I can't even make eye contact with the unsullied I watch the show with or I will just spill all my beans. If LSH does appear, how does the timeline work? I assume we get a flashback to her being resurrected or perhaps she just shows up with the BWB, and we learn that vengeance is what the BWB has been up to since the Red Wedding. I mean, they wouldn't actually revive her all these months later, right? A body in the water that long would be unrecognizable. If they show her it's gonna be epilogue scene - her hanging Freys

Mother's Mercy doesn't even make much sense as a reference to LSH. Catelyn Stark was a mother, but LSH isn't one. LSH is focusing on killing Freys rather than tracking down Arya and Sansa. And LSH isn't merciful. I agree that the creators probably did know / should have known that people would think of LSH with that title. But the Walk of Shame is a huge moment that it sounds like they really cared about getting right. They've been talking about it from really early on, saying that Cersei was always portrayed fully clothed so that the Walk of Shame would have maximum impact. It sounded like a huge deal to film it with the huge crowd. I don't blame them for wanting the episode title to refer to that set piece. And most Cersei-related titles could be easily misconstrued as LSH-related titles. This is not true. LS specifically is looking for information about Arya. The idea that she's some revenge zombie is just from people who do not read carefully. She takes the BWB to Saltpans for the sole reason that the Hound was rumored to be there and she's looking for information about Arya and the BWB last knew Arya to have been kidnapped by the Hound. She is looking for her daughters in addition to taking revenge on the Freys, the problem is she doesn't have a lot of clues to go on. Even Saltpans didn't pan out because the "Hound" that is in Saltpans is just Biter wearing the Hound's helmet.

Mother's Mercy..
i think its referring to - Arya's 'mercy' - Cersei. This makes the most sense as the 'mother' is one of the facets of the Seven and this episode will feature cersei's walk of shame. Plus it says cersei 'begs for forgiveness'. - Dany. Mother of dragons, she will be with Drogon in this episode and probably show mercy to dothraki/mereenese people (i'm still not sure whether she will meet the dothraki). But is could also refer to her going all 'fire and blood' on Mereen - Selyse. Maybe selyse saves shireen from getting sacrificed by melisandre. or maybe the opposite happens and the title is ironic
I mean i want LSH to be in and it makes sense for the show to introduce her in the finale this season since we are most likely revisiting the riverlands next season (6). However i think for the audience her reveal wont be as shocking since D&D failed last year and pretty much every news article was spoiling what happened to Catelyn.
i just wouldn't understand D&D's decisions if they decided to then include the riverlands plot. Why delay it so much it just comes across as 'oh we neglected this for so long, now we just have to tie it up quickly'. Next season Winter is coming and who's going to care about LSH when Jon has just been offed.

I cannot wait to see LSH scenes if she is in and Riverlands is such a fascinating land

If Stannis dies, or burns Shireen I will probably say "Im gonna stop watching!" And then keep watching anyway. If both happen, I will toss leeches filled with Stephen Dillane's blood into the flames while speaking the names DB Weiss and David Benioff, though I suspect GRRM has long beat anyone else to it... If they kill Stannis off after all this hype, I will be extra pissed off since that would mean only Dany is left to take Westeros. There wont even be any conflict except the White Walkers... and we all know they won't win regardless.

I'd never be OK with Stannis dying but LS > Stannis. I legit had dreams of her showing up. I waited for 3 years. And Cat is my favorite character in the entire series. If Stannis dies but LSH is in would you be ok with that? Or do you like Stannis more? I actually think most Unsullied don't give a f* to the Wall. Remember last year, lots of people hated episode 9 because it had only the Wall (and it is IMO one of the best episodes ever). They don't care about Catelyn either, but having her back will drive eveyone crazy, regardless of liking her or not. It is the most unexpected event possible, and if delivered as it was in the books, the show is in for a major win. If she is in, the show can kill all Tyrells, Stannis and Shireen and have Olly sit on the Iron Throne, with Olyvar as Hand. I will literally forgive D&D for everything.

And it had the worst reviews in the whole series, until "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken". I thought it was great, in fact much better even than Blackwater And I really mean about Olly, that's how bad I want The Lady ((

Most people didn't care because of the episode before it. tyrion just lost his trial by combat and he has way more screentime than jon for the season previous to season 4. Also we were away from the wall for 2 years at that time and the wall was poorly developed before the big event in ep409 But i think with how the season is going this year, jon and stannis have gotten more screentime and i think unsullied are more invested into this storyline. People love jon snow !

One of my unsullied doesn't, and I was shocked when she told me that she didn't really enjoy the Battle of Blackwater Bay or the Battle of Castle Black episodes much. They are both among my top episodes, but I guess I enjoy battle scenes.

Mother's Mercy: Olly tells Jon about how his mother saved his life when she told him to flee and distracted the Wildlings, then plunges a knife into Jon's chest.

Is it true that the intern that suggested Olly kill Ygritte is actually on the writing team this year? Or was that made up by D&D-doubting trolls?

He wasn't an intern, he was Dave and Dan's assistant (like Cat Taylor used to be). But yeah, Dave Hill is the guy who suggested Olly stay at Castle Black and be in the NW after escaping there and that he be the one to kill Ygritte.

Which I thought was a good idea, when Olly gives Jon the victory nod after killing Ygritte I died from the sweet irony.
