Have people fully nixed the possibility that Mel has an R+L=J vision in this episode and THAT'S why we've got that title? I wouldn't rule that out myself, given the buildup in ep. 504. Holy hell that's a good theory

I think Carice got a lot more attractive as she aged. Season 2 I thought she was decent and now I'm like That's true for entire team Dragonstone ----> Season 6. Ovaries be exploding.

It's possible, but I don't think it will be revealed this season going by what Carice has said. Maybe she has the vision just before FTW.

It's possible, I guess, that she could see a vision of a dragon and take it to mean R+L=J but that that wouldn't be actually explained to the audience properly until s6.
I dunno. Just spitballing here.

I suggested something similar in the Jon's parentage discussion. It would make sense that Melisandre has some additional info in her visions other than what was in the books - where he's surrounded by daggers and it's cold, etc ... they could have her also see his past and future which leads her to believe he has to be saved. What else would send her rushing back to the wall? They wouldn't even need to do any setup really .... just drop the bomb in there that she saw dragons in Jon's blood. That's not a FULL reveal, obviously - but enough to let us R+L=J fans go crazy for awhile longer! The actual reveal may not come until he's on round two life and season 6.

I really think this will be revealed in last season. I always found the revelation of R+L to be the most crucial thing in the series. I think it would be dope if from now on they opened a season with a flashback of important events I don't know what season 6 could be but season 7 could be Tower of Joy with CGI younger Ned. littlesati.tumblr.com/post/114227002208/pre-game-of-thrones-meme-five-events-death-ofIt's such an insanely powerful moment and if they used it as a flashback opening the season they would not only add to it and establish it as something so crucial but also make room for another powerful moment when while the audience knows, there is still scene coming up with Jon learning the truth

Making Sean Bean look younger isn't that difficult since he looked so haggardly in the show (older than he really is). I know he pretty much spilled the beans (haha see what I did there) in an interview about needing to come back anyways, right?

Beinoff said Maggy the Frog was technically not a flashback.

Beinoff said Maggy the Frog was technically not a flashback. ??? How was it not a flashback? I'm confused. Wasn't Cersei remembering it all on the way to Baelor's Sept?

I suppose there's kind of a difference between a remembrance sequence and a flashback. A negligible, unimportant difference that wasn't worth pointing out. But here we are

He's actually right. As it started the episode (or even the season) it didn't break from a preordained narrative and so technically in film it isn't a flashback. But that's beside the point because it serves the same purpose, and in any case television is a bit more complicated because previous seasons and episodes usually have a set chronology. Benioff is being a pedant.

Benioff tried to redefine rape? Maybe I should watch more "Inside the Episodes".

Benioff tried to redefine rape? Maybe I should watch more "Inside the Episodes". Well, they initially claimed that Septgate wasn't rape, so....

D&D have never said that.

Benioff is the hotter part of the team, but Weiss at least had some great observations in 5x05 inside the episode video. They still on my hate list for all LS "let's not say anything and let people dangle" thing

D&D have never said that. Well I may be remembering wrong, but if one of D&D never said it was rape then some of the cast members definitely have.

The director, Nikolaj and Lena said it. Why that is, I don't think we'll find out till the show ends.
As for the LS thing, perhaps they have yet to definitively make up their minds on including her, and as such don't want to limit their options. And really, it's not like they hinted at it all that strongly.
