Is that pic at Castle Black or in the war tents?
If it's CB, then by the end of next episode, we'll know for sure if Mel comes back or not.

Maybe she just sees this in the flames in like ep 7, and we don't know what she has seen, leaving this as a mystery, she decides then to go back to the Wall, and arrives by the time Jon is getting "For the Watched". I can't see how the watcher is going to have the new though.

I swear, if they build it up and build it up over the entire season ... Mel has some strange but unknown-to-audience 'vision' which compels her to rush back to the Wall to find Jon only to have the grand finale be a cliffhanger where neither her vision, Jon's fate, and R+L=J are revealed but left in limbo until season 6 ... if ... if they do that I am just going to throw myself on the floor and throw a kicking screaming tantrum like a 3 year old.

I would hate Trystane being groomed for the Throne without a Targaryen name or whatever, would make no sense.
Also, the advantage of Aegon is dragons. He can ride Dragons, Trystane without Aegon is a huge stretch the show wont make. If Aegon rides a dragon in the books(Which makes perfect sense with the foreshadowing of the show where the Dragons are Angry at Dany) there needs to be someone that can ride them.
I dont believe the show will pass chance at a Dragon duel. Also now is the perfect time to introduce the false prince when the real prince is at the wall.

I don't tend to disagree with many posts 100% but you've got something special here so I'll break that rule.

Really, Trystane doesn't even have to be Aegon, he can just be someone who's been groomed for the Iron Throne with Doran and Varys being in cahoots all along. That would be much better than Trystane copying Jon's story as well as his hair and Doran not bothering to father any children.

Perhaps Doran is infertile.

I don't want Trystane to be fAegon and I agree with Kyrion, there is no change show will skip a dragon fight, what the books will 100% have in the second Dance of Dragons. Because there is no fAegon, I believe in the show Urine Euron will get one. And I think he will be included.

Maybe The dance of dragons refers to Drogon and Dany (Targaryen - dragon) "dancing" - her taming him and flying away. I just cannot envision Trystane being Aegon - especially that Ellaria kneeling in front of Doran shot doesn't have Trystane there which is kinda odd if he goes 'he is our king' or some shit for Trystane not to be there - or two other dragons joining in but then again the show often exceeds the borders of my comprehension

Drogon and Dany scene will be a big thing he swoops in and totally changes everything in that moment It's the moment she embraces the fire and blood idea and perhaps truly becomes a dragon. The dance could be the interplay between Drogon and Dany. Also maybe the other dragons wreck some shit up elsewhere as well adding to the dragon drama.

I love the title and agree with sati, it's about the dance (of bonding) between Dany and Drogon (the Targaryen and the dragon). It's such an important element of Dany's story and if done right, it can be epic.

I'm still hoping "dragons" in that title means the other two guys are finally going to get out of that damn dungeon.

What was interesting was a reliable WotW poster saying that the title has a dual meaning, so it's interesting to figure out what the other meaning could possibly be. Maybe Jon has a waltz with Aemon? Nah but I think the most likely thing is that Rhaegal and Viserion are released in the same episode and have a 'dance' with the people unchaining them.

Right - I keep thinking that as well since they've had Dany go down there repeatedly and that seems like a setup at least for their release/escape and some Dracarys in there somewhere too.

Wow how did I miss all this? Lots of theories floating around in here! Agree with the above about the Dance being Dany & Drogon. I think the other 2 will be released this episode too. Hopefully they don't join the party though. Maybe it'll be Dany & Drogon flying away and then R&V joining them in the sky, fade to black? Especially if there's no Battle of Meereen they have nothing to do now so why not join Dany?
That being said just want the finale title tbh. We knew Daznaks was happening in 509 so 510 is the real mystery. Any hint would be nice. Hope its not at vague as The Children. Bleh.

Or mayhaps this...
She'd remain composed anyhow. Unless she's realizing that because of my posts I'm actually Azor Ahai or something...
