Gave this one a 7. They're making things way too obvious. Melisandre saying "I serve the lord" while looking at Jon and the entire conversation after? (Don't get me started on Mel lets just seduce everyone because boobs???) Littlefinger's look when Sansa says Rhaegar raped Lyanna? Just spell everything out for everyone. Last scene was uh weird. Felt like Unsullied could have taken them. End rant. But yeah the rest was good. Stannis saved it. |

I gave it an 8. I liked the scenes at The Wall, especially Stannis and Shireen, Dany's scene with Barristan, and the ones between Jaime and Bronn. Though the pacing of the episode was good, it was definitely the shortest episode of the series. I guess they thought that Meereen would be too boring without major deaths. I'm sad to see Barristan go, but I'm not completely surprised that D&D made this decision.

I had to go with 6 because I'm sad about Selmy.
And Littlefinger kissing Sansa? Wtf?
Margaery sending Tommen by himself when there was a good chance he'd bitch out, wtf?
Melisandre, wtf?
At least Stannis and Shireen had a gorgeous scene and Jaime saw Tarth. Highlights of the episode for me.

I've followed the PTV Unsullied for years, the most observant, intuitive group of tv watchers ever. They've already put together their theory that R+L=J, maybe, probably. Now, I'm eager to see what they do with these new hints. Fun stuff!  |

I've followed the PTV Unsullied for years, the most observant, intuitive group of tv watchers ever. They've already put together their theory that R+L=J, maybe, probably. Now, I'm eager to see what they do with these new hints. Fun stuff! Ih I can't wait to read the Unsullied reviews. When it comes to Jon and Mel it's also a mystery to us what their connection will be in the future. |

3 and 4 were a lot better than eps 1 and 2 though the book snob in me wants to shout about some things

They could have cut to Braavos after the small council scene. |

It was a little under 50 minutes. They definitely could have Arya or at least extended on one of the storylines. The Laws of Gods and Men and The Watchers on the Wall were 50 minutes. Fortunately every episode after this is 5 - 10 minutes longer. |

I would've given it 8.5, so I rounded it up to 9.
I loathed the Sand Snakes, truly B-movie stuff, but it wouldn't be fair to discount a few points from the episode because their scene didn't even last two minutes and they honestly were just as bad in the books. My only other gripe is that they were too on the nose with R+L=J tonight. I loved all the rest, though, so I took 1 point for the Sand Snakes and 0.5 for the excessive exposition.

Gave it an 8. Probably my favorite episode of the season so far.
-Loved Stannis and Shireen. Sorry but show Stannis is more likeable than his book counterpart. Yeah, I said it.
-Dany and Barristan talking about Rhaegar.
-Ser Barristan the Bold going out like a boss! Although I'm holding out hope he survived.
-Jaime looking at Tarth.
-"And all the smiles died"

probably the best episode so far
I agree with some others i didn't like:
- Melisandre boobing Jon (wasn't necessary). A nice chat would have been better
- Margery letting Tommen go alone to the High Sparrow. Weird move
- Sandsnakes scene. I think killing that guy was out of character even for them. And Ellaria has just become hated
Wall, North, Mereen and Jaime were all good. I'm also hoping that Barristan and Dany have one last conversation. And i'm a bit bummed that Barry's last fight wasn't as badass, i find it weird he got outdone by random harpy dudes.
Give it a 7
