They're lucky Woodrugh (I think that's how you spell it) is a veteran otherwise I don't see how they could've survived that kindof firefight. What I did like was the contrast between Paul at the beginning breaking down, shouting "fuck, fuck" over and over again because he felt so conflicted about what he'd just done, compared to the end where he was the only one who looked in control whilst Ani and Ray were breaking down and shouting "fuck, fuck" over and over again. Not all of the writing is strong in this programme but that was great.

I liked tonight's episode and I'm still sticking with the show to the end but it needs to be said that "blue balls in your heart" is Nic's worst line yet. And as Gendry would say, regarding Ani's lines in that sexual harassment meeting, "All that bit about cocks, I never should've said it."

That said there's a line from Frank in the promo for 206 that's pretty solid.
And all of this pseudo-Bohemian Grove California rich guys up to nasty shit stuff is interesting and looks like it'll be taking off full-tilt now. So that's fun. Plus Sapochnik's directing it.

I'm fully of the opinion that Vince has been pretty damn good all season, getting better since the first episode. The dialogue he's given though...geez it is going to be parodied for years to come.

Yep. He's done very good work, particularly in his scene with Kelly Reilly in 205 just now but, yeah, his dialogue is particularly odd and sometimes absolutely terrible.

Sapochnik does a pretty damn good job, doesn't he? I think it was the best episode of the season yet.

And Colin Farrell's performance through it all was really solid.

I loved the party scene. It felt almost Hitchcock-like with that music. And it was cool seeing Paul go all Black Ops on those guards. lol
Not gonna lie, loved seeing Ani cut those dudes..

Here's where the music for the orgy scene came from btw. T Bone Burnett sure knows how to pick 'em.
