I don't think it comes out before Season 6. I just hope he can avoid the urge to retcon based on audience reactions. Stay pure, George, you slow-ass.

I follow GRRM blog daily. While he seemed like he was on the road a ton, especially earlier in the year, it's been rather cut back. When he's home, he's writing (unless he blogging 20+ pages on the Puppies - and he's not) On a couple of recent occasions, he seems to acknowledge he wants to finish TWOW and he told Hibbard earlier this year he wanted to be out before S6.
I hate to sound overly optimistic but I think there is a very good chance we'll have it in 2016.

He made that comment before about not changing certain things just because fans followed him bread crumbs and figured it out early. I doubt he'd make any monstrous changes because fans didn't like it on the show. |

Like, if there is mass-uproar when (well, if) Dany dies in the series finale and he decides to let her live in ADOS, HBO are going to be pissed. off. I imagine they'll have taken some kind contractual precautions to avoid that from happening. Maybe. |

I agree with @rooseisazorhai, I doubt he'd have it out before the debut of season 6. But by the end of 2016 could be very possible. I don't think he'd change a thing based on fan reactions/or what fans have figured out. He's already made the statement that the show is the show and the books are the books. |

Well, not really sure what the contract between GRRM and HBO says, but I think that some 13-14 years after the show´s finale, nobody will really give a shit.
