Really? I mean, I'd be disappointed he died, but at the end of the day Stannis is what, 3% of the show? It wouldn't be out of character for me. By joining forces with Stannis, there's still only a chance Sansa will make it out a live, whereas if she has the chance to kill him that's a much higher chance of Oath success. And she has more personal stake in that oath as well. For me and valyrianshadow Stannis is probably 97% of the show Fair enough. Though that seems like a recipe for disappointment for me. The man has doomed written all over him

I am not sure if I have already said this but I think Brienne is going to get Abel's role and help Theon and Sansa escape, with Ramsay killing her by bow. After this Pod is captured and flayed.

I voted for joining forces with Stannis. I don't find this to be out of character because I thought her story in the book was eventually going to be choosing to break one oath in order to fulfill another. In the books she had to make some type of deal for Lady Stoneheart to let her go to Jaime...so what deal did she agree to or make? Obviously, LSH is a moot point in the show and since Brienne is vowing to avenge Renly and is going to Winterfell to save Sansa...she's going to run into Stannis. And if Stannis is working to defeat the Boltons and in effect, save Sansa (which Brienne will probably tell him she is there but then again showJon fails to mention to Stannis that Bran is alive...so who knows) ...then Brienne will have to chose, avenge Renly and kill the man that will help her honor her oath to Lady Catelyn? Or work with the man in order to honor the oath to Lady Catelyn. I could see Pod dying in the battle for Winterfell. Show wise though, we don't get a winner of the battle until season 6.

All this Brienne Winterfell business has me wondering how/if she'll meet Jaime again in the show. Part of me thinks they won't meet again because I think Brienne might die but with that Jaime Tarth boat scene idk. Why do that if they won't meet again?

Probably a goodbye of sorts for their story when he sees Tarth.

Ooo, and she did swear to avenge Renly so that would be a nice oath to break. (I can see why Jon didn't tell Stannis about Bran since he has no idea where to find him, Stannis doesn't need to be sidetracked combing through the snow beyond the wall searching for the Stark heir.)

You make a very good point about why Jon has not mentioned Bran to Stannis. If Jon has no idea where to look, how in the world would Stannis begin to look?

Part of me thinks they won't meet again because I think Brienne might die but with that Jaime Tarth boat scene idk. Why do that if they won't meet again? It's hard to say. Depending on how Jaime's sojourn to Dorne ends on the show and what goes down in Winterfell, they could meet again though I don't know under what circumstances. If Winterfell gets the same snows in the show as it does in the books, there is no way he could get to her on the show. Perhaps Jaime eventually will ride to find her? But never make it there?

I wonder if she and Pod and somewhat taking the place of a more successful Mance and his Spearwives in that they do help Sansa escape and maybe then get captured. Then Stannis comes and she makes her choice between him and Renly probably choosing Stannis because she wants to help Sansa who is now with Stannis.

I would seriously be so disappointed if Brienne and Jaime don't meet again on the show. Sam told Jon about Bran off screen, right? I don't remember of a scene of it.

Yes, and it was implied that Sam relayed Bran's message that he was on his own mission North of the Wall and that no one should come after him and Jon is respecting that.

I don't want Pod to die. The North needs some comic relief I know it's horrible but the deranged "Theon is not here right now" Reek has on at times makes me laugh so hard
