It's interesting to rewatch certain episodes with the knowledge that Mac is indeed closeted and strongly infatuated with Dennis. It becomes pretty obvious that Dennis is not only aware of Mac's feelings, but often uses this as a way to control and manipulate him.

I just hope they don't continue to use Mac being gay as just a running gag. As ridiculous and silly as this show often gets, this is one of those things that have actually managed ot reach me emotionally, so I hope they do something with it in future seasons.
