Anyone else watching Cult? The premiere was really good. I like how this year has more of a psychological thriller/slasher vibe to it than something explicitly supernatural. Sarah Paulson is amazing as always. I like how there seems to be (at least, so far) a clear protagonist and antagonist (Ally vs Kai) instead of previous seasons where the whole ensemble is just horrible and killing each other.

I like Cult so far. It's weird, but I'm totally digging it. My theory after last episode is that all the people in Ally's life, including her wife, are members of this cult that we haven't really seen yet. Her visions could be hallucinations caused by mental illness, but they could also be real (every season so far has had supernatural elements, I don't see this one being any different). I'm pretty sure it's not about Ally anyway, it's about her son. Perhaps they want him to be their new leader, something crazy like that, it's probably got something to do with who the father is. I mean, the boy's full name is Ozymandias ... that's almost a bit too obvious, isn't it? Also currently re-watching Coven and loving every second of it.

Cult is good. I can't tell what's real and what Ally is hallucinating, which makes it interesting.
Also, Billie Lourd is really not a good actress lol.

You know what I think? I think Madison really was the next supreme. Madison didn't fail the divination task, she just didn't understand what she was so supposed to do, or perhaps she misinterpreted what she saw. She was supposed to find an object that belonged to former supreme Anna Leigh Leighton who was killed by Fiona. We were meant to think that she couldn't do it, but right after she supposedly failed her task, Madison went straight to the hidden cigarette holder that belonged to Anna Leigh (we saw her use it in a flashback) and took out a cigarette. So without realizing it, Madison did in fact find an object that belonged to the former supreme, she performed all seven wonders, she was the next supreme. But then Kyle killed her, and that is when her powers went to Cordelia. Cordelia was unable to bring Zoe back to life until Madison was dead, and that's also when her eyesight was restored. Because Madison was Fiona's true successor, and Cordelia was Madison's. That's what I think.

www.popsugar.com/entertainment/Who-Lily-Rabe-Play-American-Horror-Story-Cult-44029067Apparently this season is doing flashbacks to other Cults. Evan Peters is playing Charles Manson and Andy Warhol in two separate flashbacks, Lena Dunham is gonna be some lady who apparently shot Warhol, and now they think Lily Rabe is gonna be Sharon Tate. This is all sounding really good. Hopefully this season doesn't spin out halfway through like they usually do lol.

Damn literally everyone is in this fucking cult. It's so weird. I really liked Ivy, but after last episode I'm just like ... Like, I don't get it, she was mad at her wife for not voting for Hillary, so she joined the cult of a xenophobic, clearly insane Trump supporter ... and started murdering people? It doesn't make any fucking sense. It's funny, so far this is the only AHS season that doesn't have any supernatural elements, and yet somehow it's the weirdest one yet. It's fucking surreal.

On the upside, the guy who played RJ was insanely hot.

As soon as he said "my older brother" I knew it was the therapist.
So Harrison and the cop are fucking and killed Meadow. Ivy is a snake and is doing this all to punish Ally. Beverly is doing it because she's nuts and mad at the world. But why are Kai and Winter and the therapist? Like, what is their goal? World domination? idek.
