ok so fuck tate.
he's creepy and possessive of violet. and he raped her mom. i guess thinks he's like the guardian to all the girls in the house for some reason, and wants to give them what they want. so he's trying to give one of them a baby.
how many ghosts are there? charles montgomery and his wife and baby. the nurses. the ginger kids. constance's husband. the maid. the gay guys. tate. hayden. constance's deformed kid in the attic. burned guy's wife and kids. i think that's everyone.

i think i skipped an episode in my reviews but whatever.
so tate raped vivien and they conceived the antichrist. i'm guessing that's the premise of the new Apocalypse season? idk, i have to see how this plays out.
also pour one out for travis. yeah he was kind of a dumbass, but he didn't deserve a post-nut murder. that's just mean. and for what?

ok i finished murder house.
that was a surprisingly happy ending for the most part.
so i'm guessing tate's antichrist baby is the one that survived, and the stillborn baby was ben's. i'm assuming apocalypse picks up on this, hopefully i'll be able to start that this week.

i kinda wish i rewatched coven before starting apocalyspe because i honestly don't remember how it ended. i've mostly figured it out now but it was hard figuring where all the girls ended up (which ones were alive, who was in hell, etc).
we're going back to the murder house next!!

that was a nice happy ending until the very last scene, but it doesn't even make sense. they said in murder house that the antichrist had to be concieved by a human and a ghost, but this new satan baby is just a regular kid. they just broke their own rules. tf???
also what a waste of angela bassett's time. i literally yelled in my dorm when marie laveau came back, and then they go and rip her heart out of her chest literally 3 minutes later. boo!

I actually ... loved it.  There were so many great things about this episode and the season in general. I absolutely love the Coven witches, and I'm so happy that the majority of the season revolved around them. And I love that they brought Marie Laveau and Constance back, even if it was just for a few minutes. Cordelia's sacrifice at the end gave me major goosebumps. Although it was essentially a happy ending (they even brought Misty back ), it's kind of sad to think that because of the time travel, Myrtle will stay dead, Marie Laveau remains in hell, Moira is back in the Murder House, and all of Madison's beautiful character development has been suddenly undone. That's probably my main issue with the finale. I wish they had found a way to wrap it all up in a positive way, without essentially erasing the events of the entire season ... Oh, and the little cliffhanger at the end was pretty fucking dumb, really didn't need that. Overall, I really enjoyed it, it was probably my favourite season since Coven. Even though the overall plot was not always the greatest, it's easy for me to look past that just because I love the witches so, so much ... and every single one of their scenes gave me life. At this point, all I want is a full-fledged Coven spin-off. Pretty please? |

watching Asylum for the first time. really like it so far. super gross and kind of cringey at times, but i think that's kind of the point.
