Please give Evan all the Globe nominations. HBO released who they were submitting for Westworld and The Night Of, but not Game of Thrones yet. I thought Thrones didn't usually do so well in the Globes as they do in the Emmys and such? They don't. GoT won't win anything. Mr. Robot did really well at the Globes last year and I expect the same this year.

The Globes like to award new shows, so I imagine they'll do the same this year. They may jump on the GoT hype train, but I think they'll stick with their usual.

It would be a huge oversight for Evan and Thandie not to get nominated. Hopkins should be a shoo in for a Best Actor nod Supporting Actor seems so crowded for the show, hopefully they don't cancel each other out...Jeffrey Wright deserves a nod...the others, I'd like to see the rest of the season play out for their characters.

I watched this also last night. No spoilers: Best episode of the show so far. Under spoiler tag (not sure how long I should spoiler tag for) William and Dolores had the best lines of the night. Dolores for the: I don't want to be the damsel anymore...iconic. William making the observation that the people who created Westworld don't like people that much. Arnold is talking to Dolores via her programming and she is learning the way out. The convo between Ford and MIB, super cool. Do you think their chat helped Teddy get some awareness. Liked William realizing that Dolores was off script. I wonder if Logan and William's company is affiliated with MIB somehow? Rock guy had a transponder to help him find the way out and free the other hosts! I hate Logan and hope he dies soon. And Maeve at the end, chills!

From the radio silence I assume Admin is still hyperventilating over this. Damnit WHUR IZ MUH SPOILERZ?! I was busy with the recap and my WWorld board I liked that episode but I am a shallow whore and preferred last one with the jail break and action and everything. Dolores shooting these guys was such a terrific moment. Ford and MiB talking was an awesome scene and between that moment and him talking to Dolores Ford really looks clueless as fuck. Arnold is outsmarting him 30 years after his death. The most curious thing was MiB saying he was the one who stopped Arnold from destroying the park Recap: Not sure if you guys saw the trailer for the rest of the season but here is my screencaps breakdown: violentdelights.freeforums.net/thread/44/screencaps-1x06-promo

I was wrong, I thought only the premiere of the TWD would effect it and rebound this week. I don't know what people are thinking, it certainly deserves better ratings. HBO has invested a lot of money in this one, I hope they show patience with it!

Is anyone else worried about how Teddy is going to react to Dolores and William?
Man, what a load of good scenes and amazing acting in this episode. It's hard to decide what to comment on. I think I'll go with the town of Pariah. All the scenes there were amazing, and what a place for Dolores to begin awakening. I really liked the fight between Logan and William too. It seems like Logan could get killed by a host out here...is that possible? Lawrence is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters.
So, just some basic questions, if Ford knows what MIB is up to, why is he allowing him to keep coming back to the park? If Ford knows that Dolores has access to Arnold, and she is the only one who does, why is he keeping her around? Does he ultimately wish for the demise of the park? Does he feel like if they manage to destroy it, they should win? Did Arnold put his consciousness inside Dolores when he "killed" himself? I'm thinking of what Ford said about the idea of religion, that early man interpreted his own thoughts as God. Is Dolores hearing Arnold's thoughts or her own?
Oh, and what was that Ford said about he and Dolores not being old friends? Are they old lovers? Old enemies? What the fuck did he mean?

I'm not worried since Teddy is not around in William's time Logan couldn't get killed - he is in the riskier part of the game so he can get beaten up but not killed I think Ford is way over his head - he is keeping Dolores around because he wants to find out more but he is outsmarted as evidenced with her talking to Arnold after he left

Or do you think there is time travel going on too? I think MIB is going to take Teddy to the same place where Lawrence is taking Dolores and William, so I think they're bound to run into one another.

Nah no time travel. I don't think Teddy is around in William's time - I'm not sure we even seen him in William's time. The thing where he goes after Wyatt and leaves Dolores is in MiB's time since MiB rescues him. The only way they could disprove two time frames in my eyes is if MiB actually meets William. I am thinking now MiB may be Logan since William wouldn't allow Dolores to be brutalized for 30 years

Admin, it never occurred to me that William and Teddy have never been in the same place at the same time. Nor did I give any thought that Logan might be the MIB in the future. MIB wears contacts? Ben Barnes is brown eyed and Ed Harris is blue eyed. I think that since Teddy is programmed to be noble that should be run into Dolores and William, he'd do the noble thing. Unless we start seeing him making the same realizations that Dolores and Maeve have been making.

We don't know his name, we know he has been coming to the park for 30 years. So what the hell?

We don't know his name, we know he has been coming to the park for 30 years. So what the hell? Where did you get the idea that there are two distinct time frames? Did something happen specifically to make you think that is the case or is it just a theory you're playing around with? I didn't notice it seeming like we were in a different time (30 years ago) when William and Logan arrived, but I might have missed something. I've been assuming that everything we're seeing is happening in the now (approximately 30 years after the start of the park). Of course, it's screwy, because the hosts keep getting killed and having their memories wiped, so their loops keep re-running. Apparently sometimes they keep getting killed over and over in the same day, even, like Maeve, for example.
The MIB said he was involved in keeping Arnold from destroying the park. I think the MIB must be one of the original park founders or investors. I guess maybe he was just a first guest. And William and Logan talked about Arnold committing suicide, so neither of them could be him. I should watch that scene again to see what exactly Logan says. I wonder if his company is going to end up playing a big role in this. They keep mentioning it and how he wants to invest in the park.

violentdelights.freeforums.net/thread/3/time-framesI have assembled some stuff here. It's still edited to perfection in the show so it works as both 2 and 1 time frame As for Logan - he talks of Arnold dying and almost bringing the place down, MiB says he saved the park - so it could be helping the park financially after the park is struggling after Arnold's death. So he could still be either of these guys
