Makes sense, IIRC the original movie had more than just a Western attraction. I've only seen it once though so I can't remember what the others were. How many of them we'll see (if any) is a bigger question. I'd say we're likely to see Samurai World in S2.

So Westworld, Samurai World, I think someone in production hinted at a Medieval World. I was gonna say they should have like a futuristic world, but then I remembered the whole show is futuristic

Also I'm halfway thru my rewatch and I forgot how confusing this show is lol. Im trying to mentally break up everything into one of three timelines.
1- Before the park opened, all of Dolores and Arnold's conversations 2- A few years later, William and Logan and Dolores 3- Present day with Ford, Maeve, Man in Black William, Theresa, Dolores going crazy and retracing her old steps

Less than a month to go! I hadn't realised it was so close, I really need to rewatch the first season soon.

I finished Westworld last night. Need to wrap up my thoughts and review on it and i'm not sure if i should tag this as spoiler since the majority of people here already seems to know it. First off, i am so, so glad that i avoid spoilers and looking up theories online as i binge it thoroughly, and it's very worth it. I loved that the series has the multiple storylines that all reached a satisfying conclusion and interwoven one another at the very end. Dolores' storyline absolutely nailed this as i wasn't invested in her plot or William's until the end. The parts about Bernard is a host and is modeled after Arnold and William is MiB i did not see that coming at all. From the looks of it, it seems these were popular theories on the internet and again, so glad. Another great thing about Westworld is obviously the performance. Anthony Hopkins did a fantastic job of playing Ford and i loved the actresses who played Teresa and Maeve. My absolute favorite is Jeffrey Wright, really love seeing trying to act like a human while also playing as a host. Now some of the other "mediocre" performances, the girl who played Elise is okay. I don't particularly hated her acting like some of you guys cause Elisie is suppose to comes off as condescending. Now the girl who played Hale and the guy as Teddy on the other hand... ehhhhh. Now my major problem with the series is the world building. I get that Westworld is like a disneyland theme park where people get to kill and rape hosts without repercussions. But throughout the series, i keep wondering how on earth Westworld company try to change storylines for like thousands of hosts while also trying to satisfy their guests. Like we don't even know how big the parks are and how many employees work for Westworld considering it look relatively scarce since not one person notices Felix and that dude dealing with Maeve. And speaking of that, nobody even notices them on surveillance or the hosts acting off-script? I get that Dolores and Meave's off-script thing were part of Ford's systematic control, but none of the people on ranks noticed it? Earlier in the season they noticed some of the hosts, but later they don't? Regardless, i loved the series so much, it's actually now one of the my favorite shows alongside GoT. It's one of those series where it becomes 100x more epic when you watch it again without the first time being dull. It's late, but it's better than nothing, especially this was a good timing to be prepare for season 2.
