Fun fact about Braveheart: it only took three weeks to shoot. Did you know that? 21 days.

A solid eight. Great episode, amazing battles and realism, dragons were impressive too. To me it was not the greatest episode story wise but definitely the best technically. I'd have given it nine but I ended up giving it eight to troll the guy who complained about the eights earlier. It was hugely satisfying but it lacked the emotional impact of the door and to me comes second to that. Technically it was mind blowing and if it doesn't clean up on the techy awards there is something very wrong.

I hope there is a scene next episode that shows how Davos makes the leap from "Oh I found Shireen's stag in the place it would have been had she died here" to "yup, Red Witch burned her." I think there probably will be but its just worth noting, IMO, that finding the stag shouldn't automatically lead to the conclusion Mel burned Shireen He found a pyre. He's seen her burn people. He knows what it looks like.

1. The single shot of Jon in the battle. 2. Ramsay's end. 3. The dragons roasting the fleet. 4. Tormund and Davos. 5. Like all the rest of the battle.

That opening shot of the fire being launched into Meereen. That shot of the arrows going from army to army. That long shot of Jon when the fight first began.
Fuck.

Kit was incredible. Liam and Hivju's scene was great. Dinklage was great. Just everyone really.
No one else will mention him, so I will: Jacob Anderson was fantastic in his speech to the masters's soldiers.

609>409>309>209>109>509
Considering I thought Watchers on the Wall was the best episode of the show, this is now that.

"Aye and what have I been doing all my life, playing with broomsticks?"
"I walk. Think and walk. Think and walk until I'm far enough from camp that no one can hear me shitting my guts out."
"Happy shitting!"

Ramsay is, and will die, a bastard. The episode is called "Battle of the Bastards", not battle of the snows.

I'm fucking done in. But there's no way I'm sleeping. Can't have stayed up for every episode of the season thus far only to cave for Snowbowl. But I'm knackered. No, it simply can't be done. Not having it. There's no way I'm going to fall asleep for th This is the most British thing I've read on this board. Congratulations.
