Basil , I enlist your help! I was at the movies earlier and while we were waiting for it to start, they were playing music from video games. This piece played and I recognise but can't place it. It sounds Skyrim-esque (and the one that played right before it was Dovakhiin), but I can't be sure. vocaroo.com/i/s0ncdQAzxL4M It's a skyrim song, most likely the whiterun ambient theme. Edit: Again, I should learn to scroll down.

Is it wierd that I don't see Arya as noble anymore? I get that she is, and when she returns to Westeros she will be considered one, but I can't see her becoming Lady of Winterfell and settling down with a husband or anything like that. Arya's endgame has always seemed very mysterious to me She is a weird case because, even though she is a noble, she barely has any contant with other nobles even in AGOT. She spends most of the books surrounded by smallfolk, and preteding to be one of them. Her status as noble hasn't changed, is just that she never cared much about it and I don't think she ever will, is one of her defining character traits. I can't see her ever caring much about her looks and what's proper and trying to be delicate, but I do think she will reclaim her identity and that implies going back to the nobility, maybe she will use her position to help the smallfolk and change things so atrocities like the ones Tywin commited in the Riverlands don't happen again. Regarding marriage and kids, she is really young so the idea has never even crossed her mind, she is not a romantic person, but considering her pack mentality and how family-oriented she is, I don't think is something she would hate necessarily, as long as it is with someone that understands her. But I don't think it will happen either in the books or the show. yeah that why I always found the GendryxArya shipping wierd. She's way too young in the books. I always viewed it more of a big brother/sister relationship. He was her surrogate Jon. At least that was how I saw it.

Pretty sure Nezzer already posted the second part to this, but Ramsay's happy face on that giant guy is just too funny not to post

I had a hilarious mental image of Jon holding flaming Davos and swinging him at White Walkers. But yeah, this has been one of my favourite theories for a long time. I think Davos will be one of the few characters who are going to survive this whole thing. I'd like if his final chapter in the books is going back to his home where his sons and wife are waiting for him. In the show Matthos was his only son, but it would be great if there was a scene 8x06 where Davos is reunited with his wife. I feel like we have to see Marya at some point. That, and Davos is one of the few POV characters I can see surviving the series

Davos has always been one of the most interesting characters in the series because he doesn't really fit into the upper class aristocratic world of the high lords. Despite this, he is one of the most important characters in the books, and has brought together much of Stannis' forces in the past, through the iron bank (in the show), Sallador Saan (in both) and also championed Stannis' cause across the Stormlands. He led Stannis' fleet on the Blackwater, and also helped organize the march on Winterfell.
He is now been set up to become an instrumental piece in the reconstruction of House Stark and the upcoming war with the White Walkers, so I wanna address my favourite fan theory about Davos. Davos is lightbringer.
If Jon is Azor Ahai, which seems more likely, as Dany seems too obvious for George style (just my opinion), then Davos is his lightbringer. Davos has the ability to give Jon his army. He's a great negotiator, a good leader, and most importantly, emphatic. He can appeal to people's sense of reason, and has the intelligence to recognize when a battle can be won, and when it is lost. Anyway, Davos is an essential player in the upcoming war and definitely one of the most interesting factors going forward, so I it thought interesting to discuss.
Play ball

When he pulls the gun out of his pants, that his jacket just so happens to be tucked into. I died.

Good stuff this! I've been waiting for mad queen for some time. I always had a feeling it'd all come down to a grieving Cersei burning down KL, safe inside the red keep above the city as it burns. Then, afterwards, Jaime rides through, shocked that the thing he became a King slayer to prevent was done by the woman he loves. He finds a crazed Cersei talking about how they (the Sparrows, or the gods) took her children, so she burned them. In a fit of rage and grief of his own, Jaime kills her. Valonqar confirmed!

with how arya was written in ep 6, it seemed like a part of her was realizing the futility of the cycle of revenge, that there was more to life than revenge etc. so i would be extremely dissappointed if now she would just go back to her season 2-4 arc and kill walder frey. all i want from arya in ep 10 is to reunite with nymeria and decide to head north to meet jon Yup. Of all the people left on her list, she's not gonna kill any of them. Walder will probably be killed by the Tully's of BwB, Cersei will be killed by Jaime and Gregor is Sandor's to kill. Besides, it'd be so corny to have Arya appear across Westeros and bump people off like "a badass assassin" Too cliche

2 hours? That's insane! That's longer than it took to kill Hell Wyrm in FFXII Also, Elizabeth cosplayers. Two hours and many, many retries. The two other encounters with Lady Comstock were pretty easy though, I first-tried them both ... I just hid behind a wall and sniped her, Liz kept me supplied with ammo, because she's awesome like that. That sounds frustratingly fun I may have to try it at some point!

Dancing Elizabeth: Currently playing Infinite on 1999 hard mode. The first half was surprisingly easy, but then fucking Lady Comstock entered the stage. Took me two hours to take her down, and that was just the first fight against her in the graveyard. Elizabeth, why is your mother a ghost?! 2 hours? That's insane! That's longer than it took to kill Hell Wyrm in FFXII Also, Elizabeth cosplayers.
