McShane and Lyanna Mormont. I hope she sticks around. She's marching as a part of Jon's army, so I guess she's gonna be around for a while.

Pussified Jaime again? Me not wants. And no glimpse of the Manderlys? Surely the Starks aren't marching to SNOWBOWL with just that small host and blindly hoping that Sansa's letter to LF arrives quickly enough so that he can save their asses. gimme Manderly pls Manderly teams with Littlefinger, and Littlefinger is betrayed by the northern conspiracy in Stannis' place?

No Bran, time to riot! Haha, but in all seriousness, while I did want to see at least a bit of action from North of the Wall, I was pretty pleased with the episode. The episode seemed to fly by though. Lyanna Mormont was a badass and the girl playing as her did an amazing job. Arya getting stabbed like that shocked me, I really don't want to see another Stark die I wonder if she'll run into Lady Crane next episode. I was expecting Ian McShane's character to be around much longer, but I'm excited to see Sandor back. Also, I hate the High Sparrow and the Waif even more if it were possible. We'll see Bran in 8 (which is next week, terrifyingly enough...) or in the finale. He has too many potential cliffhangers in his story (Benjen, ToJ, and Night's King) to put him in too much.

Who said that? I thought with the reveal and the little peaceful society it was probably the best part of the episode? I said it felt a little rushed - I meant the ending. I didn't think it would all play out off-screen like that without more explanation of what exactly was going on with the 'bad guys' - who they were, etc. Casual viewers probably going to be a little confused by some of that. The setup with McShane was great. I felt they could have given the whole thing at least 5 more minutes they shaved off the episode though. I do understand why they did it that way I guess... so that Sandor has no choice now but to go back to the only thing he knows how to do. Ah, yeah I get it. Gotta admit, the bit where Sandor ran to the camp and found everyone dead and the Brotherhood gone seemed a little odd to me. How far away was he? Still loved it though. Sandor is back! I'm not gonna complain about that!

Ok, just because we had some great lines this episode, here it is.
Gotta say, Blackfish was a real badass

I don't think the thing with Sandor felt rushed at all. It just wasn't what we were expecting because it was different than the books. We saw who saved him and heard how, and we got a reason for him to leave and seek vengeance. What else do we really need? I have no desire to dwell there just because of McShane. Sansa had no choice but to enlist Littlefinger. No surprise there. Now she'll be indebted to him again. That crafty fucker. Who said that? I thought with the reveal and the little peaceful society it was probably the best part of the episode?

Ian McShane and Clive Russell took it for me this week. Everything they said was golden. Can't decide who was better. Honorable mention to Dianna Rigg, Gemma Whelan and Liam Cunningham.

Sansa is getting so annoying this season. She just keeps talking about the Starks and expecting everyone to bend to her will because she wants them to. AND she dares question Davos, AND she dares insult the Mannis.

8 Strong all rounder. Sandor's return was awesome, Jon and co rallying support was good too, even though Sansa is just annoying as all fuck. Davos is still the man. Olenna is a badass, Blackfish is a badass, Mcshane was a badass. Ironborn stuff was brief but good, LS Hype and Stannis mentions are always appreciated.
Strong episode as I said. But not quite perfect.
